Hi WPDM,
My feature request is for the All Packages page, to be able to bulk edit Link Template and Page Template. This means we could change the templates easily for many Packages with files of a particular type, instead of editing one by one.

I completely agree with the need for this. There really needs to be an option to do bulk edits from the All Packages page much like how you are able to do bulk edits to specific posts from the All Posts page in WordPress (i.e., you can bulk assign categories, tags, etc.). Having the ability to bulk edit Link Template, Page Template, categories, and tags from selected packages on the All Packages page is highly needed.
The Default Values plugin has its uses, but it is an “all or nothing” option. Not everyone wants to assign the same exact Page template or settings to every single product.

Also default values does not work for bulk imports.
I am now using a plugin called WP Sheet Editor Pro to be able to bulk edit most things in WPDM but there needs to be improved bulk editing in WPDM. They already have plugins for other download managers and I’m going to ask them to make one specific to WPDM.
However, I think my suggestion should be a core function so that we can filter packages and edit templates (and hopefully other things) in bulk.
I agree with this. I have 90+ documents that I need to bulk update the link template. I was successful in updating page templates on these documents through a SQL query but i cannot do it with the links. I am using your plugin for controlled Intranet documents in a PRO version and it seems to me I should at least be able to do this.
I agree. Why isn’t there a bulk edit option? I have over 400 documents and for each click and set separately a new template will be terrible ..
