– When you try to download a manual it should give a details page and option to download. This is no longer working.
This is not an issue, anyhow this can be controlled from link template

Yes, it works properly when you open it in browser (Chrome and Mozilla). But if you choose to save it and after try to open in PDF Reader – file is corrupted. Also i found that size of file is different before download to site and after download from link, so i think script is adding something to file, but i don’t know where i can fix it.

I try to do the same things too. Create archive page like http://demo.wpdownloadmanager.com/wpdmpro/archive-page/.
The problem i have is I haven’t on my archive page 3 or 4 cols. All is like you frontend demo archive page except the number of cols.
For me i have only one cols, I want have 4 cols on my page.

In wpdm-extended-shortcodes.php it looks like I’ll have to modify the links on lines 199 and 233 (and possibly on 415).
To retrieve the current link both 199 and 233 are using:
<?php echo get_permalink($file->ID); ?>
I have a few questions:
1. It looks like I would need to replace get_permalink with a function call but I’m not sure which one… Would it be: “wpdm_download_file()”, “DownloadLink()”, “wpdm_ddl_button()”, “wpdm_getlink()”, “wpdm_get_download_link()”, or “wpdm_package_link()”?
2. If I use one of those functions what parameters would I feed to it in order to retrieve the right data?
3. Also, does the wpdm-extended-shortcodes.php file need any special includes in order to access those functions?

That is great, I can use that function.
However I still want the ability to let users download directly from the site, the function should work like a “tell a friend” function.
Is there any way I can use the e-mail lock function, but instead of email lock the link, user can still download from the site?
Example template:
Download Title Send to you e-mail (email lock funnction) Download (direct download link)
Link size Download count

I there any way a can add a function that let people share the downloadlink (package) to an email adresss?
It does not have to contain the file it self, but just a link to the downloadpackage on the web.

I am looking to take the Subscribe button that is found on the package page and add it to my link template to be displayed with every package listed. Basically I want the user to be able to subscribe without needing to visit the package page to do so.
The attached screenshot shows my directory. I would be adding this new subscribe button below my download button.

Hi,
I have a site using version 3 where most of the shortcodes work, but on 2 new sites using 4.0.6, the only shortcode that seems to work is the package link, all other shortcodes just show the short code (ie. [wpdm-pp-cart])
I have uploaded just about every plugin available from the WP Download Manager site, but just showing shortcode only on pages. Even editing a link template most of the variables (eg. [popup_link]) just show the sortcode/variable code.
I would be grateful for any assistance.

What kind of code/php file should I modify?

icon is not linked there. only download link will work for the add-on.
WPDM Pro has option to block mail domains, you can use that option to block fake/temporary/disposable email addresses. Also you can ask for email and name, send download link to their inbox rather than instant download.
Hi all!
Few days ago I have purchased Download Manager Pro v4.1.2 .
I’d like to set up an email lock with the download instantly option. I want the user to click on the download link, fill the form with username and email address and then be able to instantly download the file.
However, even checking the option “Download Instantly” in the “After submit form” I get the same outcome of the “Mail Download Link” , i.e, the user receives an email with the link to download the file.
I think this is a bug.
Could you please check it and get back to me with a fix or a way to solve this issue?

I see download links are showing now.
Hi, is there a way to make a button link open in a new window? I have just one category that uses LINKS for the file. When the Download button is clicked is redirects the users to the video. That’s great, but I would prefer to set the buttons in this category to open in a new window. Is that possible?
