Hi
I just purchased the pro version of the plugin, and installed the free addons
I set up a listing page of my files, using the shortcode [wpdm-all-packages items_per_page=20]
I’m using tags and instead of having the created date of the file, I want to show the tag associated with the file.
I suppose I have to make changes in the wpdm-all-downloads.php file, but I can not figure out exactly what I have to change. Either the tag is not showing or I crash the page 🙂
Thanks for your help
I suddenly can’t add new downloads. The icon is in my editor and it opens fine but when I click on the file tree it won’t open up the folder with the files to select. It will open to show any subfolders, but not files.
I’ve tried disabling all plugins and it doesn’t fix it.

– I am unable to add tags to downloads
– Is it possible to remove the /download/ of the URL
I have two sites both completely separate from each other but part of a multi-site setup. I have installed the plugin and it is working on both sites. I now want to have one page on each site which will show just all of the downloads available from that site, and not the other. So site A just has A downloads, and site B just has B downloads.
I have tried in a test posting using this [wpdm-all-packages items_per_page=20]
but it shows *all* the downloads for both sites. How can I get it to just use the downloads for site A please?
Can you please let me know how to fix the following error.
My client is unable to download the PDF files from the following website, only from INTERNET EXPLORER. It creates an error “cannot download file”. The downloads work normally in Chrome, Safari and firefox. It’s just IE.
This is the second time I have posted about this as I have not got a response yet.
The free version of the plugin worked great, took 1 – 2 seconds to connect to a download item.
Now that we have upgraded to pro the downloads take 20 – 30 seconds to start downloading if not ending with a 500 error….totally unacceptable..
Please let us know a solution for this
Today I upgraded the plugin to the latest, Version 4.1.8. Now, I can’t seem to attach files to a package, or edit details of the package (like templates used, package size, # of downloads, etc.)
Whenever I hit the update button it just discards the changes. I even tried creating a new package and attaching the file I want (a simple 329 KB PDF), but only basic information (Author, title, description) seem to be saved. Everything else reverts to the default, and the file does not attach.
Please help. I’m getting ready to launch a new site, and this is really causing me some concern.
Hey
Recently upgraded to WPDownloadManager Pro and the speed of our downloads to actually connect to the download takes forever now!
When we had the free version is was very fast.
Let us know what you need to have a look.
Good morning, just updated to v4.1.8 and I’m not able to create new downloads. When i create a new doc I am able to attach files, icons, templates, etc. But when i click on publish the content of the doc is blank. It saves with the title only but loses attached file, template settings and shows a blank page. It then renders on the page with an access denied link and no attachment found.
I’ve deleted the plugin, downloaded it again and reinstalled it. All add-ons were disabled before installing 4.1.8 and had no issues before updating. Have added no new plugins or had any site changes prior to the update.
Can you please help?
Thank you
Hello, I have installed lazy download plugin and default values. Is there any way to set manaully default values for bulk import? I need set checkbox “Lazy Download” for imported downloads (by default this checkbox is not active).
