Hi, after recent update our download packages which have attached dirs connected to them doesnt allow to download individual files, file icons show as links but nothing happens when clicking.
Even with “Single File Download” enabled it does not work. Anything else we can try?
My link template works fine with WPDM 6.8.9. After updating to 7.0.2 my template styling breaks (wrong colors). Here’s my code:

The modal is coming from our testing site, can you please clear site cache and try again. And for email lock any other pages, posts if you want to use, you can use the below code in your link template, and use the link template id in your package shortcode that comes from

I hope you can help me with this – your help will influence my purchase.On my site i use WPDLM and publish large downloads that are always secured by recaptcha – I found it not working yesterday by accident and set about troubleshooting it.
I created a wordpress plugin specifically to log any errors in REcaptcha the process, here is the file output.

First issues I’m having is on the back end.
The modal windoes for generating a temp link or any promopt that pulls up a modal window this plugin the opacity is set to 0 so I don’t see it.

}I have to manually go into the inspector and put it to 1 in order to see the content.
I also would like to know if there is a way to avoid the download page and just have a link that will prompt the email catupre and download after email validation. I don’t want to user to go to an additonal page. Most of the downloads are of single files.
We have checked the all_packages shortcode(All Downloads) table, and the filter and spinner appear to be working correctly. This issue may be caused by a conflict with the theme or another plugin.
Could you please try deactivating all plugins except Download Manager to check for a potential conflict?

– By default, the package count is displayed in all_packages shortcode. That feature is not available for the archive_page add-on. If you’d like to display the total number of packages on the archive page add-on, you can do so by adding custom code.
– To change the background color of the “Loading…” text, please add the following CSS to your theme’s Additional CSS section:
.wpdm-loading { background: #your_color_code !important; }– Regarding the scrolling issue, it occurs due asynchronous page load. This will be fixed in an upcoming update.
– Please note that your previous page view was generated using the all_packages shortcode, which differs from the archive_page_compact view. If needed, you can create and use your own customized template for the compact view. I would suggest you to create a new link template(Downloads > Templates > Create Link Template) according to your need and use it for compact view.

Thank you for the reply, I double checked and did not see any settings anywhere to ignore Download Manager, that is a shame and not good for websites with large libraries of downloads.
I will contact WP Optimize tomorrow and report back what they say. I hope this is an issue that can be resolved by them or you all.
In the mean time I am thinking of moving my download library folder to the root of the Public_HTML folder and see if it does or does not delete it located there being that is at the root of the site and not under any WP directory. I will also report back on my findings for that.

Please note that the Attire theme and Download Manager do not have any specific or special server requirements. However, for better and more stable performance, we do recommend maintaining a decent and properly configured hosting environment.
If your site contains a large number of downloads or categories, a well optimized server setup will naturally provide better load times and smoother navigation. In some cases, unwanted database rows can slow down page loading. Running a database cleanup can help to improve the performance.You can also use a caching plugin to get better performance.

You can find the tag slugs from Downloads > Tags > slug.
If you have tag slugs A,B,C and only want to display the downloads from tag A then use it like this,

RegardsFirst, create an export file from the old site using Download Manager(Downloads > Import & Export > Create Export File). This export will not include the description field. Import this file into the new site without the descriptions(Downloads > Import & Export > Select CSV file).
Next, create another export file from the old site using WP All Export, this time including the description field. In this export, keep only the ID, title, and description fields. Import this file(Downloads > Import & Export > Select CSV file) into the new site to update the items with their descriptions.

Hi there. I have WPML installed on the site, and the site is translated to French, so the user can switch between English and French. However, the downloads on the French side of the site are displaying English titles.

a large German company would like to download various files from our website. Unfortunately, this only works for a few downloads, but not for all of them. Our IT department and the customer’s IT department have already looked into this. So it must be due to the Download Manager plugin (we use the Pro version). The latest update 6.8.9 did not help either.

I am currently trying to get WP All Export and WP All Import running, because of course we need not only an export but also an import. At first everything seemed fine, but during the first import attempt it removed the category of the downloads as well as the tags, and it also didn’t change what I intended to change (the icon).
Could you please support us here so that we can at least get this part working? The pressure on our side is enormous.

The problem is that when I click into an individual download, the search box doesn’t function.
Could you advise why the search isn’t working inside individual download pages and how to fix it?

I am contacting you regarding the Downloads Manager plugin.
After updating to version 3.8.8, we encountered a serious issue with the template variables.Specifically, when using the [description] variable in the template, it displays the description of the posts/articles instead of the description of the package.
You can see a concrete example at this URL:This behavior did not occur with previous versions.
I kindly ask you:
if you can check and confirm the bug in version 6.8.8 and, if possible, provide a patch or a temporary workaround;
how I can download version 6.8.6 of the plugin again, which did not have this issue, so that I can downgrade while waiting for an official fix.

I purchased the Pro version and the Archive add-on for a customer and I am currently testing various options.
I try to create a download area for product data sheets and a second download area for patents and certificates. He wants to offer two different download areas with filter function on his website. I have created different categories for this purpose.
I can display specific categories for display using the shortcode addition “category=”…”. However, all created categories are visible in the left column (sidebar). Is there a way to only see the selected categories in the sidebar? Otherwise, it becomes very confusing.
