Sure, I will try to explain. Currently when I add my download items for customers to purchase there are only two options (or there is only one option) to put in the price. That is good for the regular downloads that I have so far.
Now comes, that I would like to add the option for the customers to have the option (if they choose) to go the subscription route with the same downloads. If they pay a monthly/yearly subscription they can download the same items for FREE. I want to do this without having to set up a different system (plugin) if possible.
There was the user management system (subscription service) that I tried to install but it ended up locking my users out and not letting them log in. So I uninstalled it.

Hope you are well. For disallowing crawling by the Search Engine. You can
Mask Download Link, If you mask the download link, bots will not be able the find any public download link easily. You are able to find this setting fromDownloads > Settings> Basic Settings. please check.

Topic: A few issues with CSV import
Hi,
I’m planning on uploading 400+ image downloads to my site, so to save time I am going to import via a CSV file.
I have just performed a test with ten items in the spreadsheet.
It uploaded the downloads but just with a few issues that I’m unsure how to resolve:
1. For any downloads I create manually in WordPress, the download button will prompt the image to download to my computer, which is how I want it to work. But for any file that has been uploaded in the CSV import, the download button just redirects to the image in the browser. Is there a way to resolve this?
2. File size: I appreciate that there’s a column for file size, but just wondering if there’s any way for it to recognise the file size without having to type this in manually for each file?
3. files/preview columns: For these I have first uploaded the files into the media manager, and then copied the links into the spreadsheet. This worked fine but I’m wondering if this is the best method for this or whether there’s a more efficient way?

it’s complicated and it occurred to me at some point that it could also be due to the license. I have pulled the customer site on a subdomain to test. I forgot that I probably also need the license?
Second point: my customer needs the opening downloads absolutely in a new window. Therefore we got an adjustment in the class.Package.php from you as the manufacturer at that time. But this file doesn’t work anymore in the current WPDM version, that’s why the customer website still has version 5.1.18 installed.
Is there a possibility to have download files on a different domain to use a different storage space
AND to have them always open in a new window (target) with the current WPDM, so we don’t need any customization and also the backup files are not so big?

I am at a loss or do not understand the system.
For example, if I upload a PDF to /home/www/alldownloads I can assign it to a download in WordPress. But in the frontend this can not be loaded by download. I get the error message of a critical error.
If I upload a file via WordPress in the normal way, I thought it will be stored in the file folder I entered in the settings (see above). But this is not the case. My test files are still uploaded under wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files but not found on frontend.
I still tried to disable all other plugins. The same result
Could you please help me again?

Sorry for not understanding properly about the template tag. The template tag you can use in any page/link templates from the
Downloads > Templatessection, if you are using the PRO version, you will be able to see details of it. And after using it within any link-template you will be able to use any of your shortcode parameters. I hope you have understood now. Using it you can show your categories in the sidebar which will be used to filter categorised downloads. Then on the right side, you can display your downloads/packages. Hi I’d like to set up a simple basic gallery where the user will go to my downloads page, see categories (logos, product images) and be able to see a privew before downloading. I don’t need them to see how many downloads those images have or any other information.
I want all of this to be on a single downloads page.
I have the Pro version but your documentation is so difficult to follow. I don’t have the options that you show in your setup documentation or help sections.

Hi I tested the Archive Page addon to customize the appearance of my downloads. Consider that I need a customized view of the downloads with [pdf_thumb_500x500] + [title] + [description] + [download_link]. On the other hand the [wpdm_all_packages] shows only a tabular view of my downloads, which I don’t want.
I wish to use the [wpdm_archive_filter] with a custom template because I need to search among categories. Following your suggestions, I copied in my child theme the sidebar.php file included in ../Filter/view and customized it (I just wanted the categories and nothing else).
However the filter appear with a checkbox, while in other website sections I normally use sidebar menus with simple links. Hence I would like to know if I can change the wpdm filter menu to simple links instead of checkboxes. I saw that the function is contained in other views (eg the Flat style within the file Flat.php), but I realized that changing those files only mess the website up.Any suggestion? Alternatively (for me it is even a better solution), trying to have the filtering container as a separated widget that I can use in a normal sidebar (like the shortcode [wpdm_search_result], but working with categories).

On one of my downloads, I put a lock option as a Facebook page like. When I click on the download, the dialogue page pops up and asks me to like the page. After liking it, it takes a few seconds to start the download., The pages get the like. I have to manually close the Facebook page like a dialogue box. When I already liked the page, I have to dislike and like again to download the file. Like it doesn’t know I already liked the page.Here is the video, explaining the issue.

On one of my downloads, I put a lock option as a Facebook page like. When I click on the download, the dialogue page pops up and asks me to like the page. When I close the lock option, still nothing happens.I presume after clicking on the like button of Facebook, the page needs to close automatically and allow the download. But it doesn’t.

GTmetrix and other website speed test plugins are showing that this below link are taking too much time to load … I tested many page , in all pages same error – this link is taking too long to download.

Hi, how can we send you Slovenian translations so you can include them in the installations and updates so we don’t have to upload them every time when we update your plugins?
Also, we translated all POT files but two things remain not translated on frontpage of Archive plugin: the “LOADING” tab which appears from the bottom of the page and “All downloads” in breadcrumbs (“All downloads is translated but when you click “Home” in breadcrumbs, it turns into “All downloads”)

Hope I wouldn’t bore you with an easy to solve problem:
On our corporate website we’re providing free download of two white papers (https://viadoo.de/whitepaper). As a user, all you need to do is entering your name and (corporate) email-address. BUT: As soon as you click “download”, the browser says either that it can’t reach the file (here: “https://viadoo.de/download/whitepaper-remote-leadership/?wpdmdl=18065&_wpdmkey=626a8e87691dc&subscriber=Ct8XbJmEsklAmNrCziBbF5CFkIoDHfW4N-9DKHR8gbiW8Ls66fTpuTeT_0pVAzGBOLhZQqlVTUq19LtYwguUlg” (Chrome) or simply “kCFErrorDomainCFNetwork error 303” (Safari).
Meanwhile, the WPDM Pro plugin registers all users’ downloads as successful. So in the end, we get the information from WPDM-Pro that several customers downloaded our whitepapers successfully – what isn’t the case in fact – and we have a lot of dissatisfied customers, instead.
Have you any hint for us to solve this problem?
