Thank you.
So I tried to update the archive plugin and the update DELETED IT.
This has happen numerous times before. Your update manager sucks.
I had to AGAIN manually upload the update.
It’s fixed now but no thanks to you and your ALWAYS buggy plugin. I must be your least satisfied customer ever. every experience i have with your plugin is a total disaster.
Why is there a “1” on this page, just before the download section – https://www.interiorgas.com/board-documents/
and here https://www.interiorgas.com/other-documents/
and here https://www.interiorgas.com/rfps-bids/
???
Seems weird. These have been working for years, but now they don’t? Frustrating.
I just did a manual update (as usual) to 4.9.8. The license validation finally worked. I don’t expect the auto-update to work in the future. It never has. But as least it is up to date now.
I can do all that. In fact that is pretty much what I have to do EVERY time I try to update your plugin.
You say the auto update will work after I do all these steps.
Well. All I can say is, “I’ve heard that before”.
See you in a couple months when I write another ticket about your plugin not updating.
Honestly. This issue has prevented me from using you plugin on any other site. I don’t foresee anything changing:(
They don’t work for me. The same issue is there. The downloads open in new tab, but the page that links to them becomes a 404.

Please, help me fix this. And please be detailed. I am not a developer. So please explain where is the code you are referring to.
Please help.
Sorry but this is a little too technical for me. I need more info.
1. WHERE is the “custom jquery” I supposedly added? I don’t recall doing this and I can’t find it. Where is it?
2. I’d be happy to add this code snippet. Do you mind telling me WHERE?
Please be specific File names and locations are needed. Thank you.

The category / tag combo doesn’t work in WP. It is just the way tags work. And yes, I totally agree… it basically makes tags another form of categories.
In this case, tags work basically like “sub-categories” but they cannot separate out individual categories. In other words. if you have two categories (blue and red) and two tags (light and dark), you could not filter out the results or “light” “red”. You either get all “red” results or all “light” results.
I struggled with this for a long time, but in defense of the plugin developers… it is not plugin related. It is a limitation in WP.
OK. I did this… but it didn’t work.
<style type=”text/css”>.more_previews_a{display: block;float: left;margin-right: 6px;}</style>
<div class=”row”>
<div class=”col-md-12″>
Date of Meeting: [version]<br />
[description]
<br />
[file_list_extended]
</div>
</div>
<script>
jQuery(function($){
$(‘#xfilelist .panel-footer a.btn’).on(‘click’, function(){
window.open(this.href)
return false;
});
});
</script>
OK. Thanks for the quick reply.
That is great. But WHERE? do I put it.
Thanks for the reply, Unfortunately we are using [file_list_extended] to display all the links on the page. The number of files on each page varies from 1 – 3 files. http://www.interiorgas.com/download/board-meeting-6/
Any thoughts?
Thank you again. I will call my host and see if that can be done.
Also, the download packet link does not seem to do anything. http://www.interiorgas.com/download/test-board-meeting-docs/
Thanks.
Thank you. I would never have figured that out. Is there a way to make a default template so that the one that works is automatically used for each new package?
Thanks.
This code gives me the categories. I want a specific tag within the category. But the tag is also in other categories. I just want the tags that are in one category to show. Can it be done.
Thanks for the answer.
So, how can I display multiple categories on a single page. I need the categories sorted together.
