Hello Shaon,

I’m sorry to be unclear, but it’s not working like we are hoping.

I will try to explain it below step by step:

– Create a package with multiple pdf files
– Use a shortcode to link to an e-mail lock first
– Enable an e-mail lock, so we can track who has downloaded which file
– Send the link to the page by e-mail, so we know for sure the users has used a legit e-mail address
– On the package page, multiple files can be downloaded individually or the full package

What can we create to fix this? Is this custom?

Please advice.

Hello Shaon,

Yes, I managed the same thing. But I want users to be able to download after they have clicked the link in the e-mail.
They should be able to download the full package on this page: http://www.branded-ingredients.com/download/setria-studies/ – This is where they are linked to via the e-mail.

But when I click that link it gives the subscribe button again.

Best is to get the individual download to work with e-mail lock.

Can we fix something please???

Yes, we are using [download_link] in the link template. The [download_url] is being used on the page template to download the complete package.
It works perfect as administrator. So it should be possible to work with the e-mail lock, don’t you think?

We really need to figure out how we can use the e-mail lock for packages like this.

We need to go live very soon with this function and we are now testing it here:

Find link below “Setria Studies” that will show e-mail lock pop-up. We send an e-mail with link to full package (necessary!!) and a link to download complete package at once.

When people come on the package page (http://www.branded-ingredients.com/download/setria-studies/) – They must have the option to download complete package, but this gives the download link expired txt. And option to download individual files.

Please help, so we can start using the plugin!

Is there a way around? As we really need to use the e-mail lock. After an e-mail has been send with a link to the complete ‘package’, we would like to give users the option to download them individual. Definitely with packages that contain 10 documents for example.

Hope you can help with this.

Hello,

Is it possible to include [file_list] with a direct download for each download individual on the page:

DOWNLOADS
File 1
File 2
File 3

Users should get the option to download these individual instead of downloading them all at once.

Does it mean we can not show this in an e-mail when we send an e-mail with the e-mail-lock function? “Download”

When we upload them via “Attach new package” and then “Attach file” – we can not choose where to store the package. This is a standard folder: “wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files” | Can we change this?

Hello Shaon,

An hyperlink with Download here does not work.

Also, how can we change the location of the files when we upload them in the wordpress environment? Or do we need to use the url after uploading via FTP?

Can you help with all above please?

Thank you for your quick reply Shaon. It does not cover my complete question yet though.

– How do I make an hyperlink of [download_url] so that I can use the shortcode [download_url], which will automatically inputs the url, but hides it like “Download here” <– That will of course not work?

– With the “Download Instantly” it is still sending the e-mail. Can we have them to register their name + e-mail for the download, but without us sending an e-mail with the link.

– Have you got more information about this last question?
