Thanks Tahasin… I contacted Bluehost support and had them do the following, which solved the problem. This is what I sent them in case others have a similar problem:
Hi Support Team,
I am experiencing a ModSecurity false positive on my website that is blocking a legitimate plugin function.
* The Problem: When I try to use the Google Drive add-on for the WP Download Manager plugin, the connection is blocked.
* The Error Message: “An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.” (406 Not Acceptable).
* The Cause: The plugin passes API tokens and authentication requests back and forth with Google, which is triggering a server-level firewall rule.
Could you please check my account’s server error logs, identify the specific ModSecurity Rule ID that is being tripped by these Google API requests, and whitelist just that specific rule for my domain?
I want to keep ModSecurity enabled for my overall site safety, so whitelisting the conflicting rule ID rather than turning the firewall completely off would be highly appreciated.

I have the most updated version, but I reloaded with a fresh copy anyway— no change; I still get the following error: “An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security”
Sorry for the late reply. I am looking forward to the next update to see the change in formatting of download counter. Thanks for your quick response and help.

will doc viewer work with a package that has multiple .doc files in it? Or does it have to be a single file package?
BTW I can’t get it to work with a .docx files.

HI Nayeem… Thanks for the quick reply. The instructions you gave me will work with PDF files, but my need is to view or preview .doc or .docx (Microsoft Word files). Any help please.

Updated to version 6 and all seems to be well… thanks. BTW why doesn’t my WDDP auto-update? I have it set for auto-update in my Plugins.

My program does not say TOP Packages, but yes, Downloads > Stats > Insight section.I want a simple way to see all counts of individual packages at one time.

download button shows up on the package, and files in the package are displayed, but NO download buttons on individual files. I have used templates with the [file_list] in the code and still no download links on individual files. What am i doing wrong?

just purchased wpdm pro and downloaded the one drive plugin. having trouble with the logout url entry in the wpdm registration… what goes in that fill-in? is my site url with end-session on the end of it?
