Misbehave? I’m sorry but there is clearly a language barrier here as you don’t seem to understand my point and are viewing things the wrong way. I didn’t come here to cause trouble, it’s not in me to do so. I have already complemented your work, so I fail to understand how I am misbehaving?

As for your reply with feature requests. I requested a feature over 2 years ago and nothing was done about it. I am not waiting another 2 years!

I am going to buy the WPDM Default Addon as I am tired of trying to make you understand me. Yes the plugin will save me time, which I will be grateful for.

Buying Lazy Downloads was a mistake, human error, it happens. I was hoping for some understanding. I have already paid over $170 for your products ($190+ after I buy WPDM Default Value), all I have asked was some help in an exchange which would save me some money, that was all.

Kind regards

Well I must have missed that part, I would never have purchased if I knew it went to another page. Mistakes happen. Is there no way you can help with an exchange? I’ll never use Lazy Download as it doesn’t fit my needs and I’d appreciate it if you could help me with WPDM Default Values as I do believe it was my idea, or at least inspired from my idea!

I am sorry to keep on but I feel like I’ve been robbed here πŸ™

Hmm ok.

Is there no way to block access unless referred from a specific domain?

For example, it only downloads if the link is directed/clicked from a domain page?

Kind regards.

Any updates on progress? I feel I have been very patient waiting for your responses but I’m afraid to say my patience is running out. Your lack of communication and effort towards your customers has gone downhill dramatically. It’s almost like you aren’t bothered anymore.

If you can’t fix it, then I’d appreciate it if you just tell me rather than not say anything at all! Thanks.

I’m sorry but updating hasn’t sorted it out. I am still able to download more than the daily limit on a normal user.

Thank you. Everything has updated. One last thing, I can’t seem to find any option to have a custom download link image?

Hi James, I can answer some of your questions, I’m sure Shaon will answer the rest for you.

Problem: No Icon Showing
Solution:

1) Go to /public_html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/images/icons
2) Copy all images from there.
3) Paste the images to: /public_html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/file-type-icons

and that’s it! All icons are working now.

Note: Also make sure that [icon] is added in your Link Template.

Problem: Link taking you to another page.
Solution:

1) Ensure that your Link Template has [download_link] in it. This will be your download link. At the moment, it’s not possible to wrap it with an image.
2) Ensure you have selected the link template which has the [download_link] code, in your packages.

For example, I have created a new Link Template simply looks like like this:

[download_link]

and the title of the link template is simply, ‘Download’

Now in my packages, My link template is set to “Download” and my page template is set to “Default template”.

I hope answers some questions for you πŸ™‚

Sent. I still haven’t finished making all of the packages yet, so here’s a link to a post which does have a package:

You’ll see the download links at the bottom of the posts.

Hello,

Thanks for replying back to me. I have uninstalled the previous version, re-downloaded the new version, installed it, but still nothing is showing. I have even tried simply putting [download_link] in the template with no other codes in, but no avail. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong but I can’t seem to get an image to show, only the “Download” text.

I’m sorry but it doesn’t work at all. I’ve followed your instructions step by step and nothing shows. I can see the images in the admin area, just not on the frontend. πŸ™

Yeh the free version does, however, there is now a new addon for the pro version that allows you to replace the download link with a proper image button. I’m just unsure how to get it to work that’s all.

Hello,

I have noticed that you have added a new addon which supports images for download links! πŸ˜€

Everything is all installed, I’m just a little confused how it works? I have chosen a download button but nothing shows still? πŸ™

I’ve found a solution!

1) Go to /public_html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/images/icons
2) Copy all images from there.
3) Paste the images to: /public_html/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/file-type-icons

and that’s it! All icons are working now πŸ™‚

Note: Also make sure that [icon] is added in your Link Template.
