I have applied this update and the problem appears to be solved. I am now able to select multiple files and they all persists.

Sorry I will not be able to provide admin access as it is against company policy. Do you have a log I can provide in the system?
It is advisable you enable an access lower than admin to be able to access your system.

Can you try this on a sample installation on your side. I can confirm that my license is enabled and valid.
