ah.. the update deleted archive add-on for some reason. it’s back

Hmm seems like a temporary problem. Files can be downloaded again! Does WPDM needs constant connection with FTP for files to be downloaded?
But still need help with the ‘last modified problem’

Download Manager isn’t responding correctly anymore :

What files did you change?

4#Unfortunately 1999.1 isn’t working. neither is 1999.2, does it need special markup because of the (.) dot.

5#Being able to add child hierarchy was part of the custom work, that had to work. Otherwise, how could i get a working workflow i send you in the beginning? I actually told you this several times..

This is the workflow

A new version will come out: 1000.1 that has a parent: 1000
1000 doesn’t exist yet so i add it to the csv file ( this is just a parent page) this will get linked from a certain page.
The only thing this page does is show all the different kind of software
1000
1001
1002 etc

In return those pages have different versions: 1000.1/1000.2/1000.3
Those versions contain files like : API – 1000.1 etc.

My setup now is :

1000 = package with shortcode for all the packages in category 1000
1000.1 = package with shortcode for all the packages with the category 1000.1
API 1000.1 = package with file that again is listed in 1000.1

The CSV file will contain
1 row for package 1000 with shortcode
1 row for package 1000.1 with shorcode (with category parent 1000)
1 row for package API 1000.1 with file. ( with category parent 1000.1)

The first work you did, with the archive shortcode, wasn’t a good fit because i can’t use shortcodes within the packages. Also there are no individual package pages. Just /archive-2/.

Also you told me you would fix the layout, but you did not.. I couldn’t wait any longer so I made the aforementioned workflow.

Otherwise to make it work now, I need to add all the categories upfront, child and parent categories. When new software comes out, the category already exist and people just have to give in the correct category-id in the csv file. That’s quite some work. I won’t even be using any of the custom work i asked for..

Hi, that’s great. but how would you tell if a category has a parent or a child ?
Also the category 1999.1 isn’t being added.

great, while your there: the automatic csv import, is adding a certain file, over and over again. No description, just a title.. Inductive Sensors P&F keeps getting duplicated?

and also, page template and link template, aren’t working anymore after upload.. so not sure what changes you made. but something broke

So again.. I’m still waiting, with no custom work done? No update? nothing.
