Hi Shaon, thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately it is already disabled but still have the /download/ link ๐
Hi Shaon, thanks for the reply.
But as you can see in the following picture. It hasn’t got a link in the CSV file. just the file name.
Shaon, thanks.
1# So I’ve uploaded a file with your customized CSV import. It saying : File-not-found
After almost 3 months the auto-import is finally working. But somehow It’s still isn’t possible to just download a uploaded file?
2# I just want a ‘Download button’ like the one on this page: http://computer-info.nl/downloadsss/a4-pb-2/.
So because something is remotetly uploaded, I can’t use [download_link]?
3# That means I have to add a div id to the [file_list] code, edit the CSS and make it look like a simple download button. Alot of work don’t you think?
4# I’ve noticed something strange. I’ve given the file within the CSV file the following name a4test.pdf. I placed it within the folder /files/ like you told me to. But WPDM creates this download-error: /public_html/wp-content/files/files/a4test.pdf: No such file or directory. It places an extra /files/ within the url. No wonder he can’t find the file, because /files/files/ doesn’t exist.
I’m still patient, but you have to be honest. 3 months later and I still cannot implement the website for a client, because the auto-import / download doesn’t work? Something that should have taking you 5 hours, you told me.
I understand how to add the code of the plugin.
Home > Documentation > User Manuals (Package category) > User Manuals Group 1 (Child package category) > Package
Link wise :
http://computer-info.nl/downloadss/documentation/ > http://computer-info.nl/downloadss/user-manuals/ > http://computer-info.nl/downloadss/user-manuals-groep-1/ > http://computer-info.nl/downloadsss/userdutch/
Like I stated before: I want it to be as followed: http://computer-info.nl/documentation/ > http://computer-info.nl/documentation/user-manuals/user-manuals-groep-1/ > http://computer-info.nl/downloadsss/userdutch/
See the difference?
The pages that /downloadsss/ (WPDM folder) produces are just ugly. When someone clicks on a breadcrum, I dont want them to go back to /downloadss/ but to /documentation/user-manuals-groep-1
Hopefully I clarfied it for you , if not. please let me know.
So how to make sure it doesn’t get downloaded as a ZIP file? I uploaded a PDF file, i want to be able to download it as a PDF file.
Try these:
http://computer-info.nl/downloadsss/a4-pb-2/
http://computer-info.nl/downloadsss/premium-template/
Does it have to be a .zip file?
Hi Shaon, thanks it worked.. But every file i try to download gets a pop-up message, when trying to open the .zip file. : The archive is either in unknown format or damaged. And why is it .zip file and not just a regular download?
I opened it with MS excel, could you tell me why it isn’t formatted properly?
Well hopefully the attached picture will clarify it for you.
The most important part is : i need to be able, to create pages something like http://www.computer-info.nl/page1, page 2, page 3 etcetra. with the use of CSV import.
If it isn’t possible, perhaps you could help me with finding an solution? If it requires custom work let me know.
*I’ve sended a reply to the regarding custom work a few days ago, perhaps you could take a look at this, because some customized work isn’t working yet
Hi, regarding the above.
#1: is it possible to create actual ‘pages’ with the use of WPDM?
Using the example of this topic: Software > Softwarecategory1 > Softwarevariety1 > Softwareversion100.1
Software is a static page that will never change.(no new pages in the future)
Softwarecategory1 is a static page that will never change.(no new pages in the future)
Softwarevariety1 is a dynamic page. Meaning: there is variety1 variety 2. I want to create a new Softwarevariety named: Softwarevariety 3 with the use of a CSV, #2: is this possible?
Softwareversion100.1 is a dynamic page. Meaning: there is Softwareversion100.1 Softwareversion100.2. I want to create a Softwareversion 100.3 with the use of a CSV import#3: is this possible?
I would love some input how to accomplish the above.
Any ideas?
http://computer-info.nl/documentation/user-manuals/
I gave classes to every invidual TD in a row. It works.
Thanks anyway!
Any luck?
But which shortcodes, like i mentioned, should i use? thanks
Tauhid, it’s been a while. Made any progress?
Tauhid thanks for your reply. I’m trying to add a specific category. Actually I would only want to show several specific category’s. Perhaps the
category=”category-slug” parameter could help me, unfortunately it isn’t working.
Tauhid thanks for your reply!
So how about creating custom fields for individual files within a package? Like I mentioned:
Installere.exe | size: 20mb | last modified: 20 oktober 2011 | >Downloadbutton<
Or should I create a package for each download and create a page, with all the downloadable packages on that page?
What do you recommend?
