ok and so does a shortcode exist to display packages for specific roles ?
ex. : i’m user connected with the custom role “organizer”, is there a shortcode to display packages for my role ?
and further if i would have another custom role like “animator” the same shortcode would recognize my role and display packages depending on my role.
hope i’m clear
yes with copy/paste of your word financères from here it works (with the yoast plugin desactivated)…. i don’t understand… i’m using a mac… i will try with another computer…
but it’s very wird…
thanks for trying to find the problem but i need the yoast plugin so i will add the words with accent which are important for the search in the description field (below the title) of each package and like that it will work …
i don’t know what to write….
by adding ?search=financière
at the end of the url of the page ok. but not using the search field and i won’t ask the visitors to write queries in the url field of their browser…
if you use the search you don’t find it. in the package list in the back-office the package is in on page 10 line 2
“financières”
in fact not : the only way to make the search for words with accent is to put them in the description field because only in the package title is not enough.
if now you try to search “trésorerie” you will have results because i added “trésorerie” in the description field of the package
…. ok … the main problem is that wpdm search does not support accented characters
neither back-office nor front-office
sorry but it’s not working when using search field (writing the word in the search field).
the point is : why i can find “recrutement” and why i can’t find “trésorerie”. Both words are present in some packages titles.
that’s precisely the problem, you can’t find it even though it’s there and this proves that there is a problem with the search in the back office and the front office
see my previous message from Aug 28, 2024 at 8:18 am in the back-office in the packages scroll at the end of the list
and I assure you that the word “trésorerie” circled in red is indeed a whole word and not part of a word. Please let’s stop going in circles….
Good morning,
are you still looking at my problem? In fact I’m not waiting for you to find a solution now, but for you to recognize that yes there is a problem and that your team will work on it and that the problem will be corrected during the next release of the plugin.
no “trésorerie” is not a portion of the word it’s a word in its own right. If you try for exemple search with the word “recrutement” you will have results…
yes at the end of the first page of the packages :
i removed the search field at the top of pages so there is just one search field in this page : https://www.med-in-occ.org/recherche-de-documents/ but it’s the same…if you search “trésorerie” you have no result.
Hello,
what are the 2 fields you are talking about ? you mean the search field in the top of the page and the search field in the results page ? because i don’t know how to remove the field in the results page, the search field in the results page is included in the shortcode…
ok thank you
or maybe that’s because there are fewer hierarchical levels (3) for packages begining with 34… or 30… than others (4 levels) what could disrupt the research ?
Hello, thank you for your reply.
when i search packages, i’m allways using words from packages titles. So what you telling me is that sometimes it works, sometimes not… …wird….
what i don’t understand is that for all the packages whose titles begin with “34….” the search works as i’m expected. those packages was created in july, before the last update of the plugin.
maybe in your last update of the plugin someting you changed in it could explain these search/result difficulties?
i think the server has nothing to do whit it, maybe another moderator could have a look at this request ? Nayeem Riddhi ?
i’d rather not…
the wird thing that all the packages (that i have created a few weeks ago) in this page https://www.med-in-occ.org/expertise-territoire/departement-de-l-herault/ (in the spoilers) works, you can search with terms present in the titles…
but in this page (packages a created today) https://www.med-in-occ.org/construction-dun-projet/ some words works in the search, others not and i don’t understand why…
ok thank you
