We will add the image button feature as an extended option of the current “User Interface” feature. So, Image Button will be deprecated soon. We are following this path to bring all UI related options in the same place to make things easier for the users. So, please use the normal button for the time being.

Please check if access permissions have been set properly. Click the Wrench icon to review settings.
The user doesn’t have access to the File Hosting UI. Please go to the Downloads > Settings > Frontend Access > Allowed User Roles to Create Package From Front-end option and set the user role which will provide File Hosting access to all user in that role.
No, you don’t have to create a separate plan for each video. If you want you can put all videos under a new video plan or just put those under any of your existing plan.
User can buy any membership item separately if you set a package price. This is true for any package independent of the attached file type.

[wpdm_my_downloads] doesn’t show packages from a specific category. It will show all packages shared with the user. But you can have a category filter by setting the username in category settings.

You can link the main download button with the package download URL. To get the download URL use the Generate Download URL button in the all packages admin page. Each package has one under the title. But it is not possible to customize the download button in file list using elementor.
Also, Download Manager provides the button customization option in Downloads > Settings > User Interface.

We have added more options in generate download link feature. So, replacing the file won’t work. Send me your class.Packages.php or the whole plugin. I will send it back after adding the patch.
BTW, you should always use the updated version. My suggestion is to move the customizations in a separate add-on or template files to make the update process easier. Because an outdated version could have incompatibility issues with the latest WordPress at some point.
Have you added the Spanish translation for the missing strings? Some string translations are missing in download-manager-es_ES.po file. For example, you have to add the Spanish translation of “First Name” to appear it in the login form.

You can use the WPDM Categories widget to display all categories. Please it on your sidebar widget area from Appearance > Widgets page.

Please check the “Allow access” option of the pacakge in question. Maybe permission isn’t set properly there. You also have to check the category permission. Users can get their access from category permission too.

Thanks for your suggestion. I guess we have to change some HTML tags in link and page templates to add AMP support. Also, there are some things related to adding custom js and style size. We will dig deeper to learn more about the transition procedure. It will take some time but if it is a step forward we will definitely take it.

Some add-on does require pro version ( we mention it clearly on the add-on page ) because those are based on some features which are available in pro version only. File Hosting add-on utilizes some Pro features like frontend upload, frontend access settings which comes from the pro version.

Please check your users to look into their spam folder. Sometimes that could happen. About the delay in sending emails, it depends on your email server. Although, on my test, I got the emails instantly.
To improve the overall email experience you should use an SMTP plugin. There are lots of free and pro options available in the market.
I have installed the updated version of WPDM. In future if you face any issue with auto-update, logout and then login again from your Downloads > Settings > Updates tab.
