ok now, had to update wpdm-be-members.php

Some of them are still hidden. For instance on this page, on the first tap that says “INTRO”,at the bottom, on the left side to the video,there must be a doc named “PIST-Acronimos”, the code is there, but is not showing.

It is there, but you where not seeing it, because “Hide Everything” option was select in wpdm settings page, when user don’t have access to the item. Now, I’ve selected the option “Only Block Download Link”, so info is showing for everyone but only authorized users will be able to download.

Also, I need to remove the link from each download, for instance if you see the image, people could share this link with other free-subscriber. Please only show the DOWNLOAD link, and not the FILE permalink.

You can hide file permalink from link template by replace [page_link] tag with [title]. Docs: http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/ , but even an user share download link or permalink publicly, unauthorized users will not be able to download the item.

Don’t worry, if you allow a package to specific member group(s), only users under those group(s) will be able to download the item.

Ok now. Had to set the link template Default Template w/Icon ( link-template-default-icon )

In Admin Side, I’m seeings the icons properly, may you please give me the exact front-end URL too where you are seeing icons are missing.

BTW, you may use this add-on http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-default-values/ to mass update access filed or other field in package settings.

in that case, remove “All Visitors” from any packages or category where you don’t want to give access to all visitors.

Changed category access is applying + applying package’s own access settings.

BTW, did you change any plugin file, can I reinstalled v4.2.1 from my backup?

Actually there is no problem with the category, I see you selected Subscriber,  but selected All Visitors for the packages under the category , so

All Visitors + Subscribers = All Visitors will have access to the packages. Please check http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/add-new-package/package-settings/ , “Allow Access:” section to understand how “Access” works.

May I try disabling other plugins for moments.

You need to create custom link/page template from Admin Menu Downloads Templates without [download_count] tag, or clone current link/page template you are using there, remove [download_count] tag and save as new template, then use the new template for your packages. no other action are required actually if still any other category access is affecting it. However reactive admin access, so that I can check your changes, I’m sure that there still some assocuated category have all visitors selected which is allowing guests to download the packages.

ok now, it was not waorking becuase of custom file path issue in your installation, however, I’ve changed the wpdm_dynamic_thumb functions a little ( also added the changes in my side for next update ) to make it work.

May I test changing active theme for a moment?

ftp is not working.

We just found there is still a minor issue with auto delete download cache, however we have fixed it for next update, it will be released with next week.

you need to uncheck “All Visitors” from all categories.
