Try disabling bootstrap js/css from dwonload manager settings [ Misc Settings panel ]. It should fix the issue.
Which theme are you using? There should an option in theme option to control slider category.
It happens when another file with same name exists in WPDM file directory. But when user downloads the file, name is changed back to the original, so your user doesn’t see the random part added to the name.
Do you have the latest version? Tree shortcode is working in our test [wpdm_tree] Let me know if you have latest version but still not working. Send a temporary wp-admin login info in private reply in that case.

Everything is working fine now, problem was with the setup, wrong dashboard page selected in WPDM Frontend settings
Sorry, not clear, may you please give me some mockup image, a rough drawing, how you want to make it or url of any other similar system.
However, after creating a package, you can again add new file later with that package.
Tested here http://resume.stardotmatt.com/sample-page/ , looks like open in browser is working fine. You can enable disable “Open In Browser” option from wpdm settings page.
For cheque and cash , please download and upzip attached file, upload Cheque and Cash dir to /plugins/premium-packages/libs/payment_methods/ dir.
You can change currency from Admin Menu Downloads Settings Premium Packages Payment Options Tab.
If you error coming after your edit, it will be hard for us to find our, best way is restoring original version, however please let me know what you want to change, if that is minor ( if it can be done in few mins ), I shall do that for you.
For dashboard, please select dashboard page in Admin Menu Downloads Settings Frontend Tab Save Settings. Then pages will work fine.
The short-codes you are not seeing in docs page, they are mostly add-on short-codes and explained in add-on page.

That’s what ‘link-template’ is 🙂 You can create new template from Downloads Templates
You can modify package view insdie accordion using link template.

1. I have found a bug in advanced tinymce button after checking your issue. Replace link_template by template in shortcode, i.e. your shortcode would look like following one,
[wpdm_packages template="link-template-calltoaction4" order_by="post_title" order="asc" paging="asc" items_per_page="10" title="" desc="" cols=1 colsphone=1 colspad=1]
Will fix it in next addon update.
2. [wpdm_tree] shortcode is working fine in our test. Please send me the page url where you have this shortcode.

Single Column, Extended, Playlist page template does not show individual download button. Use another page template. I have changed it to Single Column, Image Top, Extended. You have more options to choose from.
You can use category shortcode to show all packages of a selected category. Use tinymce button to insert shortcode.
1. Create a link template without these information (Download, link, file size, and download count) and use that when inserting accordion shortcode. Here you will find docs on link template, http://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/templates/link-template/
2. Accordion addon does not have that option yet.
Download link is visiable there (https://www.evernote.com/l/AUeLplTfKNlJ5KmJdEv94AAXFpDusZaejC0), but if you want a button there you have to activate Image Button addon.
In settings page, the category slug is “downloads”, but http://unofficialmills.co.uk/mp3downloads/ it is “podcasts”, you need to change “downloads” to “podcasts” in wpdm settings page.
