WPDM Default value addon can do mass update of package settings. It also uses default values when creating new packages.

It depends on your theme’s breadcrumb feature. You can use a breadcrumb plugin too.

There is another option. You can use [categories] template tag in your custom page template for downloads.

In your package settings select ‘Subscriber‘ in Allow Access field.

If your categories have small number of packages, then insert each package using [wpdm_package] shortcode not category shortcode. That way you can control the order.

Another option is building a customized category shortcode, which will sort by your own custom meta data ( a number or id). If first option works for you, you don’ need the customization.

Hi, If you serve downloads from S3, WPDM does not copy those in your own server. Downloads always served from S3. So, there is 1 copy of data.

Please delete current installation of File Hosting addon. Then Download and install latest version. Just released an update to fix that issue.

You can do that by using your own template file for Frontend Upload.

Follow docs from here Check instruction#3

Frontend inputs will be found in wpdm-add-new-file-front.php, Remove extra fields from there. Keep only what you need.

Sorry, Not clear, what you meant by ‘External URL’

Do you want to add file from external URL? You can do that. Just list the URL under the files column.

Check following sample. Added a Dropbox file there.

Updating php file is not enough, we have to update the po/mo files too. We will try to release the update at the beginning of the week. Please wait till then.

demo1 has subscriber role. Some of your categories are set to accessible by Subscriber globally from category settings. Uncheck the subscriber from category settings and save settings. That will fix the issue.

Please update the page with [wpdm_frontend] shortcode. No edit required, just click update. That should fix the 404 error (it is a permalink issue ). If it doesn’t fix go to WPDM Settings and save setting.

Fronted Upload shows all categories (parent and child). You can add files to any categories. Please send temporary wp-admin login info, if you don’t see all categories in frontend category box (add new package page).
