You can change the filename. We are using the name field to show only name by default, which looks better in frontend.  However, you can use Single Column, Image Top, Extended page template to show file extension icon.

Did you made any recent security change in your server? Server is allowing the option update, although user is an administrator. Server responds with following message,

Sorry, Frontend page has to be the base page. It won’t work if it has a parent.

Do you have [download_link] template tag in your custom template? Access denied message will be shown only if you have this in your template.

Keep Allow Access field in package settings empty, if you want to control access by category.

No, it is not possible. There are some security/restriction issue related to this quick download link. masterkey in the download link is required for this.

Do you have the Downloads menu in dashboard? All packages page is the first item in submenu of Downloads

It is the page where you browse all your downloads.

Which shortcode are you using in dashboard page?

Did you select Frontend uploader page in WPDM settings? Frontend Uploader will only work on the page selected in WPDM Frontend settings.

BTW, If you are using Template to customize uploader page you can use custom template. Check point#3 here

Deactivate Download Manager from Network Admin. Then activate Download Manager separately on each subsite. That should solve the issue.

You can customize both registration and Login form. You need to use your own template file to do it. Check point#3 here, it explains how to use custom template.

Login and Registration form templates are /tpls/wpdm-be-member.php and /tpls/wpdm-reg-form.php
