Just tried two downloads using the provided user. Assigned first two downloads to the user. Got only one email for each download. Please try downloading as the temporary user, let me know if still getting multiple emails.

You can capture email using email lock feature. You need Mailchimp add-on to add the user email to a  Mailchimp list.

You can use custom link template to remove details page link from image and title.

Make a copy of your active theme’s single.php file and name it single-wpdmpro.php

Then remove the date and author info section form that template file. That should be enough to achieve what you want.

You are using Free version of Download Manager. Only Pro version has the attach file from URL feature. If you have already purchased Pro version download it here

Delete free version before installing Pro. You won’t lose your old packages.

This is coming from old version of Advanced Custom Fields addon ( now this tab is named Quick Form ). You can add extra fields with email lock feature using this add-on.
