I’ve no idea what they are talking about, try to use the shortcode in any standard built theme from wordpress.org or A+ level premium theme, it will work fine everywhere. Undoubtedly it is an issue with their theme. But, I don’t want to keep you hanging for a theme with issues, please give me FTP info in a private reply, I shall help you to resolve it somehow.

I respect your privacy and opinion 100%, but I’m saying that to make your clear about our position, and actually, it is standard practice to provide access and nothing to be worry there, however, if you can’t allow access to your main site, please install it in another dir and somewhere else so that we can check the issue or activate the license manually.

Probably it was not working due to the cache plugin, you had to add a condition in no cache option:

Sorry for delayed reply, Yes, the bigger the number is the more download speed user will get, but the speed certainly will not be able to exceed users internet speed.

If you enable password lock in package setting, it will ask for the password automatically and when a user enters the correct password and click on the download button, download will start automatically after password verification. But please let me know if you got trouble anywhere in that process.
2. The CSS are in /assets/css/front.css and /assets/bootstrap/css/bootstrap.css, but you can’t edit there, you need to apply CSS in your theme’s styles.css using the same classes where you want to change, or use any plugin to add custom CSS.
