Sorry, no such option is available with free version. This is possible with pro version using the template builder, but only applicable for public downloads.

There should be settings in Jetpack to control which post types should be auto published. You can disable “wpdmpro” post type from there.

If you allow only subscribers then download link won’t work for anyone else. Maybe your category settings is set to “All Visitors”.

When editing a package you can get the package permalink  using following code,

This issue is related to the plupload library which is provided through WP core. We are looking into possible patches to solve this from our side. For now please use another browser when uploading new file.

Sorry for the delayed reply.

User based access worked fine in my test. I have created “AAC Test” package and assigned it to user “wpdm”. And the package is accessible by “wpdm”. Tried to access the package from another user “demo”. But demo user couldn’t access the package as the package was assigned to the user “wpdm” only.

Please check this test package and let me know if you find any issue.

This download link is showing because of <audio> tag conflict with another plugin.

Remove marked line from wpdm-functions.php file to hide it.

This is coming from Facebook SDK. They haven’t updated it yet. But this issues is open is GitHub. Hope a fix is coming soon. We will update our copy as soon as new update available.

For now, you can just disable facebook SDK if you want. Just comment the following line from /download-manager/libs/class.SocialConnect.php file,

Which shortcode are you using? Is it from Directory/Archive add-on?

Please send the apache error log. I have added few lines on wpdm_downloadable function in /download-manager/wpdm-functions.php file to show the downnload button in details page.

Did you click “Update All” button in settings after selecting roles? If you do not update all the settings will be applied to only to new packages.

Download Manager files are stored in /uploads/download-manager-files/ dir. Please check that directory for uploaded files.

Yes, you can update the .po file to add missing strings. If you are using Poedit just click the “Update Catalog – Sync with Sources” button to add missing strings.
