Are you referring to the password lock feature? There shouldn’t be any issue with weak password there.

1  ( a ) No option yet to remove password after the limit. But you can reset limit.

1 ( b ) No password usage report available yet. But we will look into this.

2 ) WPDM does show error when a password is not correct. Currently, it shows “Wrong Password! Try again” message.

I tested the email notification for download. Got email on both addresses saved in settings. Please check the SPAM folder if the email is missing in a specific address.

Email Template option is a core plugin feature which isn’t available in free version. It actually doesn’t have relation with Form Lock price. With WPDM Pro for $45, you will get lots of other features including Email Templates.

Is this related to WPDM conflict with another plugin? By TinyMCE do you mean a custom editor?

Download Manager uses core WordPress search function. Maybe your search plugin is modifying the core search behavior. So, the fix must come from search plugin side. Please ask the author if there is an option to exclude specific post type from custom search behavior.

Use custom link/page template to hide unnecessary data. Clone any template from Downloads Templates page and edit on top of it. Then set your custom template in package settings option in edit package page.

Download Notification email sends user’s name when you email lock the package. It worked in my test.

There is no direct add-on/solution for Google tag manager/GA. But you can use various actions to track downloads.

We moved the icon location long ago. Maybe your packages are very old. Created before we moved the icons directory.

All old icons are available in the new directory. You just have to select the icon in package settings and update the package once. After that, you don’t have to move the icons directory.

It takes a fair amount of server resource to generate pdf thumbnail. However, thumbnails will only be generated once to save the resource. And we will use previously generated thumbs.

1 ) yes, this add-on can show protected pdfs too. There is no limitation like google doc preview.

2 ) Not available yet.

License and settings update seems to be working now.

You can edit the new package notification email from Downloads Templates Email templates tab. Edit the “New Package Notification” template there.
