If you have multisite enabled, here is the solution. Otherwise create a separate topic and send wp-admin login info in private reply there.
Please install the following copy of the plugin,
https://www.dropbox.com/s/xyrfqe89txtxn5f/download-manager-v.4.7.1.zip?dl=1
You can read details about this here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/multisite-upgrade-fails/
Please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply. Also, send me the package link where you are the error is shown.
You have to hide some columns in all packages page to make the view more readable.
The title is shown inside the toolbar, so it is not possible to show title when the title is hidden. But you can apply CSS hack to hide sorting etc and show the only title when the toolbar is visible.
Add following css in your theme’s style.css file. Your shortcode should have toolbar=1
.w3eden .category-panel .panel-footer{display:none;}
Set allow access to ‘All Visitors’ in your package settings to allow downloads without registration. You will find the package settings meta box in edit package screen.
Maybe something is wrong with your theme’s archive template. Please check if the post category archive page works. You can do that by viewing any category from Posts Categories page. Click the view link under a category.
Let me know what you see.
Alternatively, you can use a custom template for download manager category page. The template name should be taxonomy-wpdmcategory.php
Read more about it here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/template-files/
Please set allowed access roles from Downloads Settings Frontend page.
Hi,
We are working on an update of WP Pro Membership which will be available within next week. We will review all issues you reported above and adjust or fix where it is necessary. Will notify you on this topic when the update is available.
Thanks.
Are you referring to frontend upload form? Please use [wpdm_frontend flaturl=0]
shortcode to fix 404 there.
Hi,
Sorry, there is no shortcut way to transform this shortcode as WPDM shortcode.
If you are trying to provide image download, you have to create packages by attaching those images. Then use a download manager shortcode to display those images and download links.
You can read the getting started doc here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/getting-started/ or we can set up a sample package for you if you send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply.
So you are from city of legendary Žalgiris 🙂
Thanks.
Glad to know 🙂 Closing this topic as resolved.
Hi,
Please download the latest version ( 4.7.2 ) here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/purchases/
By the way, package access is decided by combining both category and package access settings. So, a visitors might have access to a package if you set ‘All Visitors’ in package settings, Even when in category settings, you restricted the access to only subscribers.
If you want to bulk update package setting you need Default Values add-on https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/download/wpdm-default-values/
Thanks.
Some JS and CSS files are returning 500 error. Please ask your server support to check the issue. Maybe there are some server rules in place which is blocking this resource requests.

Hi,
Please unzip the downloaded file first. Then install appmarket and appmarket child as a theme. Or send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply. We will install it for you.
Thanks.
Were you using this in sebraeugm.local? I unlocked it from there and you can use it in new domain now.
Install the latest version of Download Manager if you are using an old version. Otherwise, send the license key you are using.
Do you have the Premium Package add-on installed? Please update it if you have an old version. A similar issue was related to this add-on. If it is not coming from Premium Package then try deactivating other plugins, that will help us to find the conflicting plugin.
Send wp-admin login info in private reply if you can’t find a solution or reason for the issue by following above stated approaches.
Yes, you remove files from a download package. Just click the X
button in file panel and update the package. Although it won’t work in your case right now because of the update issue you are having.
Do your file names have the same pattern? Please send me 2/3 actual file names that you upload to WPDM package.
Hi,
Do you have the latest version (4.7.2) of Download Manager? Please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply if you are facing this issue with the latest version.
Thanks.
Please try changing the resumable download and output buffering option from WPDM settings. Or send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply so I can run those tests.
Please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply to check the issue.
You can use WPDM category shortcode to show files from a single category. There various sorting options. Please check the options for order_by
parameter here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/short-codes/wpdm_category-query-all-downloads-from-one-or-more-categories/
Use multiple category shortcodes to show categories as you explained above ( One category after another )
Unlocked your key. Please try now.
Please send temporary wp-admin login info in private reply to check the issue.
This shortcode is coming from Archive Page add-on ( Directory Add-on ) Please check if this add-on is active or not.
The Directory add-on is named as wpdm-archive-page.zip in the special pack 🙂
