You have already located the correct template. Now, just copy and place it in /active-theme/download-manager/ directory. That will preserve your customizations when you update the plugin. When you place a template in /active-theme/download-manager/ directory it overrides the default template.

Yes, it is possible. Actually, that’s the default behavior of the WPDM when user login is required to download the file. Instead of showing the download button it shows a login button that takes the user to the login page and after login redirect the user to the package page.

Does it act differently on your site? Which page/link template are you using there?

This shortcode shows packages from free category with add-on tag excluding packages with file-list or pdf ( ID: 8 & 59 ) tag.

Please install a copy of Archive/Directory Add-on. If that doesn’t solve the issue, try deactivating other plugins one by one.

Please check now. Maybe the issue was related to the old version of Premium Package add-on. I have updated the add-on and it seems that fixed the issue.

You are using a very old version there. Could you please try the latest version to check if that resolves the issue?

Follow these steps to update the plugin,

1 ) Deactivate and delete the old version. You won’t lose any data.

3 ) Install the latest version and activate the license key.

I tried several downloads from different browsers but download worked every time. If someone else encounters this issue again, please ask them if the issue persists Or it gets resolved on the next download request.

Please send me a premium pacakge URL to test. In the cart page, the return URL is hidden as an input in the PayPal form. I want to check what is the value of the return URL when you are setting the [download_page] in the “Return URL” option.

You can adjust colors from Downloads > Settings > User Interface Tab.

It is basically some design choices. WPDM Bootstrap 4 templates still need some improvements. That’s why I suggested using Bootstrap 3.
