That’s correct, I want to update the attached file with a new version, keep the data for the old file, but only have the new file available to download.

For example, this page has two versions of the programme available to download so both are zipped in the widget, but I only want one available, the latest:

BTOG Essential Update: Thymic Malignancies 2022

However, I just noticed that the download count isn’t affected by deleting versions – so I can delete the old one and the count remains for the package, so maybe this isn’t a problem after all.

I have used these two shortcodes at the bottom

and
[wpdm_package id="19184" template="link-template-widget" target="_blank"]

but the PDFs still open in the same tab?
