Thanks 🙂
Do I get a free license for finding this? hehehe
Found it:
.mobile-device {
position: absolute;
top: 0;
left: 0;
display: block!important;
width: 100%;
height: 100%!important;
opacity: 0;
}
Opacity 0 – change this and the problem goes away.
Found in:
/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/assets/css/bootstrap-select.min.css?ver=4.7.2
You have to turn off Download Manager, then clear the cache through the WP Engine –> General Settings, then reload the site on mobile.
I just did it, and the problem does resolve with Download Manager turned off.
Can’t really do that. They are saying they’ll deactivate the plugin.
Can this be fixed?
No, the single files have a title, and the page is still showing the full path to the file:

Another issue. The form is sending the e-mail to the user’s submitted e-mail address – not the notification address in the form settings.
The “From” address is not the notification address, it’s sending from “wordpress@”.
This is from The Event Calendar support. We’re stuck between two plugin developers saying it’s the other guy’s issue. We really need help here.

I just tested with the WordPress Download Manager plugin and was able to recreate the issue where uploaded files are not saving as attached to downloads when creating new downloads while The Events Calendar plugin is active.
To be honest, I’m not sure this is something that we would be able to address within our plugin. The download and and associated meta should be contained completely within post type created for the download manager plugin and shouldn’t directly interact with the Events Calendar events when saving.
Let us know what you hear back from the other forum. If there is something we’re doing that goes against WordPress best practices that is somehow causing the issue, we’re definitely more than willing to look into a solution.
Ack – meant to say “The Events Calendar Pro”.
Is there anyone that can help me here? I need this addon!
Wow.. I don’t know how I missed that! We just upgraded on the other site (which is working well, I might add)!
Sorry for the disruption 🙂
That second error is happening on page load, not during download or involved with the download request.
Thanks Shaon – very much appreciated!
I’m going to leave this open just in case. I will come back and close it after 🙂
Thanks very much Sir!
I’m going to be making the changes on our live site. Can you give me a hint about what you had to do to resolve this?
No, we’re still getting the same error:
http://hitechanswers.staging.wpengine.com/download/securing-phi-mobile-devices/
Fatal error: Call to private liveforms::__construct() from context ‘liveform_for_wpdmpro’ in /nas/wp/www/staging/hitechanswers/wp-content/plugins/download-after-submit/download-after-submit.php on line 29
Sorry about that! Must have scrolled the dropdown with the mouse wheel or something. It’s corrected 🙂
I added Live Form to our staging site. The Setting page is blank, and I’m getting this when viewing a download package with a form assigned and download lock enabled:
Fatal error: Call to private liveforms::__construct() from context ‘liveform_for_wpdmpro’ in /nas/wp/www/staging/[sitenamehere]/wp-content/plugins/download-after-submit/download-after-submit.php on line 29
Hi Shaon,
Thanks – I have the plug-in bundle now. Do you have any suggestions for migrating? I see it’s several plug-ins. Can these run “side by side” with the MicroForm plugin, so we can migrate without taking the forms offline? Any other suggestions will be very helpful.
Ok – how do we actually go about getting it for free?
Is it compatible with our current forms? Will we need to recreate them all in the new plugin? Can the existing forms be imported or “converted”?
Thanks,
Jeff
Hi Shaon,
If you go into the Forms plugin > Form Entries > EFax, and scroll down, you’ll see many spam entries starting around July.
