Hi

Is there any progress being made on this please? The last thing I heard was the developers were looking into it on 12 December.

Thanks very much.

Thanks, Tanvir

I have updated to the latest version (3.2.82) also with PHP 8.2 on our staging site, and this has the same errors. I’ve just realised this is the free version. We have the Pro version on another site (6.4.2). Sorry for the confusion.

Is it something that will be fixed in a future update?

Thank you.

Hi Nayeem

I am also experiencing this problem. We are about to switch from WP Filebase Pro and really need to use these category shortcodes. I can ask people to create the shortcode themselves but it would be great if they could use the Widget.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks, Nayeem. I wondered if the Filebase Importer should be moving the Filebase files to the ‘download-manager-files’ directory. If not, can you recommend a way to do this after the packages have been created by the importer?

Please see our exchange at the top of the thread:

You: “Our WP-Filebase Data Importer add-on is a very old add-on and for many days still, it is not updating, so we are checking the issue and soon, you shall be updated.”

You: “BTW, Can you please let me know, Are you facing only issue with moving files to the download-manager-files directory and updating the links issue, please let me know”

Me: “Thanks for looking into this. The importer works fine – it creates copies of the WPFBP posts as new WPDM posts referencing the files in the filebase directory. I’m not sure if this is expected behaviour. It would just be useful to remove this directory and have all the files in one place when we update or add them in future.

It would also be useful to copy the categories over, but it’s not too much trouble to do this manually.”

Thanks, Nayeem.

Are you still looking into the filebase issue above? Sorry I added the other issue in the same thread.

Thank you. I’ve tried the following:

[wpdm_archive button_style=”primary” template=”default” order_by=”post_title” order=”ASC” items_per_page=12 cols=1 include_children=1]

and

[wpdm_archive]

Hi Nayeem

Thanks for looking into this. The importer works fine – it creates copies of the WPFBP posts as new WPDM posts referencing the files in the filebase directory. I’m not sure if this is expected behaviour. It would just be useful to remove this directory and have all the files in one place when we update or add them in future.

It would also be useful to copy the categories over, but it’s not too much trouble to do this manually.

BTW – I just updated the Archive/Directory plugin to 4.4.5 but it could no longer render the shortcode, so I’ve reverted to 4.4.4 for now.

Thanks very much.
