thanks option 1 causes an error to be thrown but i have gone with option 2 for now and will report back if caching starts

the issue i am seeing btw is that a cookie looks like its being set by wp download manager (set-cookie: __wpdm_client) which is preventing the f-edge-cache response header from loading. this means the whole site is suffering with reduced page serving from cache not just the downloads page (which i have set to do not cache)

disabling the wp download manager allows the f-edge-cache response header to be set.

i was wondering if there is any way to have both working?

Also why should i give you admin access to the site? I have no idea who you are. I can see you have helped others in teh past but for all i know you are just some bloke who is totally unassociated with the supplier.

also noticed that doing a “listing” using “[wpdm_all_packages login=1 thumb=1 items_per_page="20" categories="slug1,slug2,..." jstable=1 order_by="field_name" order="ASC/DESC" cols="title,file_count,download_count|categories|update_date|download_link" colheads="Title|Categories|Update Date|Download::155px"]” is producing no entries.

could teh categories field be corrupted or is this unrelated?
