Thank you so much! I checked the REST API and it seems like this would be the way to go.

However I have 2 concerns that maybe you could help me with:

1- In the documentation I cannot see how to add the file itself in the package. Do you have an example of how this is done? Do you need to provide a url for the file to be uploaded or is it encoded somehow?

2- There is a bug reported in Github related to WordPress 6.3.2 and above. Has this been fixed? https://github.com/imsas/wpdm-rest-api-docs/issues

I need more shortcodes or more parameters in existing ones. For example, I would like to show recent downloads for a user without all the profile information (I’m using another plug-in for that). The Profile Shortcode could be so much more configurable (ability to add more tabs or to remove existing ones). I feel like the UI provided by UDM is too fixed with very little room for customization.

Well, they are back! Finally they appear back again. Must have been some sort of cache issue or something. They appear in a different order, and the field to select them now appear with some weird auto-fill data, but I fixed the first download with the right templates and then all the other appears correct.
