Thanks.
Yes Nayeem. Thanks for resolving this. I received an e-mail the order had changed to ‘completed’ and this seems to be the case. I hope the issue won’t arise again with my other purchases later this year and in the following years.
I think I understand you correctly. It seems however that some things just don’t work as expected. Two categories with the exact same setting behave differently (eg. In the catgory ‘groepsbegeleiding & cursussen’, ‘GB voor brussen’ is not visible in the sidemenu, ‘GB voor grootouders’ is).
I will have to set access for each category to make sure all categories show.
Hi Nayeem, thanks for the response. That does indeed seem to solve my problem. However, I have I license for the ‘default values’ plugin and applied the access rules to all my packages, but that does not work.
(Instead of all visitors, I only allow author, editor, administrator, contributor and subscriber. But these settings also make my category re-appear in the side-menu.)
Hi Nayeem, I still haven’t heard from your related authority and the issue still persists. Is someone looking into this?
Thanks.
Thanks! That did the trick!
Since I did not get an answer from you, I went on looking again for a solution in this forum. It is quite dissappoiting to find out that your colleague Shahjada came up with a solution and a plugin to solve this (https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/new-custom-taxonomy-as-download-manager-tags-ruined-the-structure/), but you could not offer me any help.
They should but they don’t. Of the 627 items in www_terms only 6 items show up in the download tags. These 6 are the last six tags that were defined. All the others don’t show up.
Any suggestions on how to get them back?
Maybe a few, but not a lot! The rest of the site is static and there is no blog.
There are only 6 tags showing in that page.
The table (wwww_terms in my case) has over 600 entries and seems to be fine.
So, it is a bug? Can’t this be solved at your side in an update? Otherwise issues keep coming bak with every update.
The menu is working fine (also on my page), but the initial ordering is wrong. The code of your demo-page clearly states **order_by=”post_title” order=”ASC”** So is that ignored?
I’m confused. When I look at your demo-page, this is the order:
– Premium Images
– Email Locked
– Awesome Stock Photos
– UI Pack
– …
That’s not ordered by title?
Try adding a category to show only downloads from a specific category, and the page will be broken.
