I tried adding the shortcode to a template, and I tried using the template that had a thumbnail by default and no thumbnail attaches. I believe that there may be a bug that needs to be worked out with the code that gets the thumbnails of the attached document.

I’m curious about this as well. My client would like to have a thumbnail preview of the attached documents. Can this plugin add a thumbnail of the document rather than one of the icons?
