Despite my repeated request problem has not been solved. I have sent several messages but to no avail. Seems you are not willing to provide support to even pro users.
it has been several weeks and I am still waiting for this problem to be fixed. I have also sent you a screenshot of the installation without any extra plugins.
can share link to any demo page where it is working, so I can see where I am making the mistake.
here again tested on installation with only wpdm, wpdm archive and twenty twenty theme.

still, you can see filter dropdown shoring the entire tree instead of the selected category and its subcategory.
at least provide a filter for dropdown list so we can customise the output of dropdown.

I have just tested it on another site, which doesn’t have any plugin installed.

I have selected to show only IT category, results sections is correct but dropdown filter is showing entire tree.
If you can kindly fix this issue, it has been quite long since we have been facing this issue.
Search results are working fine, the only issue is with the category filter instead of a child of the selected category it is showing all the categories.

yes, sorting is working fine.
But the filter still shows all possible categories in the dropdown, instead of only showing subcategories of specified categories.

Sorting is working but somehow automatic update from the backend doesn’t work, so I had to upload the addon manually.
The filter issue is still the same.. the dropdown still shows all possible categories instead of the ones that are selected.

for example, here I have selected software, but the filter dropdown still shows the documentation category, which shouldn’t be the case
1. filter still shows the entire category tree instead of only showing the subcategories of the selected category i.e. “software” in this case.
also, when the newer version is expected to be released?
yes, it is fixed, but kindly integrate add ons with the special pack.
1. Add-on cannot be updated from the backend.
2. Also when you de-activate the main plugin add-ons required to be uploaded and activated again.
