Looks ok now, thank you.
anything new in this case?
Sure.
Ok i see those strings in file, but still even if i changed those they are not translated:
http://playernotes.pl/pobieralnia/
– “Asc”, “Next” and “Previous” are still not translated as you can see.
I’m using latest version od WPDM Pro.
Yes i found the file and tried translating “previous” and “next”, but nothing happened. Also i checked wpdmpro.po and there’s no strings for “previous” and “next”, so where i should look for those?
Ok, thank you.
any new info regarding 3rd point i mentioned?
3. I was looking at file you mentioned but haven’t found anything in it.
6. Ive marked those elements with red squares in attachment, i would like to know if there’s CSS variables for those elements somewhere.
ok, thanks for ur time and now i’m convinced, just will wait for newsletter addon update and i hope it will come soon ๐
Ok, last question – is there some kind of shortcode(url or package id) for notification message? I mean do i need to change notification message for every package?
Ok, so i need to clear few things before i consider buying this addon.
a) User subscribes to specific package(how does it work on frontend? does he need to be registered member?)
b) Every time administrator updates package user gets notification about that update?
c) can i change notification message myself?
d) can i set email adress for auto-messanger?
I already checked page:
http://newlook.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/front-end/
but it’s only for campaign – which is not what i am looking for.
Thanks for quick answer.
1/2. Ok, then ill wait for 4.1.3 ๐
3. No offence, but i can use regular newsletter plugin for that. The thing is – i wanted something, that will notify user about specific package update automatically and users can choose notifications for specific packages(for example additional email field for packages).
fancybox works everywhere except directaddon page:
http://playernotes.pl/pobieralnia/
๐
I know that they can be turned off – that’s what this is about ๐ even if i turned them off in some pages, they are still appearing, like those pages are ignoring some kind of rules.
I’ll try to put it a bit easier.
So i was updating pages and packages and after some time i found out, that comments on some categories(by that i mean pages with WPDM categories) are still on, even after i turned them off in WP settings.
For example, this page with wpdm category:
http://playernotes.pl/wot-celowniki/
as you can see comments are loading on bottom of the page.
Now there’s setting for comments on this page:
http://s23.postimg.org/odi2qyl2z/comments.jpg
(it’s in polish, but you get the idea)
As you can see i have them turned off, but comment form is still there.
Category i mention above is sub-category(this category is set to parent in WPDM categories settings) i thought it’s some kind of “rule” for bug, but now i’m not so sure… because for example in this category:
http://playernotes.pl/diablo-hellfire/
comments are turned off like they should be – and this is also sub-category in WPDM settings.
Two examples – same shortcodes(except category ID of course) and same WP settings, on one of them comments are still on and in the other one they are turned off, like they should be. I tried different settings etc. but still no success.
At first i thought it might be related to either disqus(comment system) or WP template – but disqus is behaving like normal comment form and it will not appear, until i turn on comments and if it was template, then comments would appear on all WPDM categories even if i turned them off without exceptions – so i think there is only WPDM plugin left…
Hope it’s more clear now.
PS. Still waiting for advice regarding image plugin(easy fancybox in my case) ๐
and other thing to fix – WPDM sometimes removes additional images from package by itself after package update.
@fedrasoft – delete old plugin completely(i mean main plugin by that), then install v4.0.4
btw. i think i just found a bug, i don’t want to create another thread, so i will write about it here.
In some cases comments are turning on by themselfs, even if they are turned off.
Here’s page without comments:
http://playernotes.pl/fallout-new-vegas/
(it’s turned off in here)
Here’s page with comments – comments are turned off here too:
http://playernotes.pl/wot-celowniki/
Page structure is the same – only different thing is category ID. I think it’s behaving like that in sub-categories(if category have parent-category). For example – fallout-new-vegas is parent-category and wot-celowniki is sub-category.
Hope it will be fixed soon, it’s not big deal, but categories/sub-categories are places, where i would like to have comments turned off ๐
I solved this problem partially on my own – i just used “easy fancybox” plugin and it recognize all images even on page/link templates, with one exception – directory addon:
http://playernotes.pl/pobieralnia/
for some reason it does not recognize those images, probably because it’s loaded via js or something? just guessing.
As you can see it is working on normal page and link templates with either thumb or thumb_gallery:
http://playernotes.pl/plik/mjolnir/ – example of page template
http://playernotes.pl/gry/?cp=2 – example of link template
for now i just want to make it work on directory addon page:
http://playernotes.pl/pobieralnia/
i can use class=”fancybox” but i don’t really know where to put it ๐ Any advice will be much appreciated.
Ok i checked – it’s does not interfere with normal lightbox, but there’s another problem – WPDM colorbox does not work on link templates – only with page template on thumb_gallery, nowhere else :\
Besides it’s pretty “weird” to use two different plugins of this type, i would really like to stick with my normal lightbox.
I found my old post, then i was asking about similiar thing:
will it work same way, if lightbox will use class? If yes – then can you check line, where i need to add that class? I checked that file already, but structure is different, i found code i modified before, but not sure if it will work now, as it’s custom post type now.
Thanks in advance.
Won’t it interfere with my “normal” lightbox?(which i’m using for “normal” posts/pages) besides, is it v4 ready?
“Weird” names of templates should only appear, for custom-made templates, at least i think it works that way…
Other thing – this shortcode for template works only for specified category – you need to set link template for all other categories too. I know it’s not related, but just FYI.
Please also check if category ID was not changed after migration, some of those might be changed.
Try create new test category with test package, then try to assign proper shortcode for it – if assigned link template does not work, then you will know, that something is wrong with the plugin, anyway you should consult that with either Shaon or WPDM support. In meantime you can also check if your template/other plugins aren’t outdated.
Yes, template id is wrong ๐
You need to set id by name, you can find all templates in /download-manager/templates/ – for example if page template file is link-template-bsthumnail.php then id name is link-template-bsthumnail, so at end it will be:
[wpdm_category id="frequently-accessed" template="link-template-bsthumnail"]
You can also check id names in WPDM template editor(it’s even more simple, than way i mention above).
Hope it helps.
After 4.0.4 everything works, like it should and i really like it ๐
Only thing i need to know – how can i assign lightbox to thumbs_gallery? the plugin i’m using have rel=”lightbox” in a href reference, as thumbs_gallery can’t be used with [preview] i don’t really know how to solve it – any advice?
PS. Really appreciate help with featured image, i wouldn’t be able to do it myself ๐
