Got it! Thanks so much for all your help on this, I really appreciate it!
Sorry, I am not completely understanding. No user is ever logged on to my site, so do I need to be using the CLONE template?
So basically, if I am understanding you correctly, in Safari, because I am using the email lock option, the download cannot open in a new browser?
I cleared the browser cache in Safari, and now, I get a new window, but not with the download, rather with duplicate of the current page I was in on the website.
You can view the issue here: http://www.screencast.com/t/pjVz2O8b
Thanks for helping me get this resolved!
Great, thank you. It works perfectly in Chrome. For some reason in Safari, it doesnt’ want to open in a new window ๐
Sorry, same pw, just updated user info.
I am already using a custom template. I updated my current code and it is still not opening in a new window. I checked in Chrome and Safari.
<div class="col-md-10">
<div class="thumbnail">
<div class="media">
<a class="pull-left" href="[page_url]">
[thumb_200x200]
</a>
<div class="media-body">
<h4 class="media-heading">[page_link]</h4>
[file_list]
<a href="[download_url]" target="_blank">[download_link]</a> <i class="fa fa-th-large"></i> [file_size] <i class="fa fa-download"></i> [download_count] downloads
</div>
YES! Yes! YES! Thank you so much!!
That worked great. Thank you!
Is there an updated option for this…it appears the download-manager/functions.php is no longer in the plugin, rather there is a download-manager/wpdm-functions.php file but it does not have the search functionality it in.
Thank you
I understand that it needs to be changed (and I am not trying to be difficult), but what I am asking is if I have a default template saved, why do I need to go in and change it by hand when I use the shortcode button on the page?…or basically, why does the correct template not get pulled into the short code?
Here’s what doesn’t appear to be working:
when i go to DOWNLOADS>SETTINGS>FRONTEND>TEMPLATE>and i pick call to action 3.
Then when i use the shortcode button to insert, I get this:
[wpdm_package id=5777 template="link-template-calltoaction3.php"]
It’s not picking up the template number. Am I going to have to go in and change the short code by hand every single time I use it in a post?
sorry, image was too big…attaching here
I’m not sure what would be happening on my end …see attached. It’s still blank for me.
should it work in all browsers? i tried safari and it does work there…but not in chrome ๐
I just tried it again, and it’s still blank. I am using Chrome. What browser did you use?
