Just found out – if I set permissions for /wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files/ to 777 it works

This question is about half a year old – but it still isnt solved.

I have the same problem – for a single file you have to upload the file from PC – which results in double using of space on the server.

Why is it not working,when the file is added from library?
