Thank you! That did the trick. Strangely, when I went to check the settings it seemed like it was pointing to the correct directory. I hit the refresh arrow on the File Browser Root line then saved my settings. After that, it worked.

Appreciate the quick response and I do want you and the team to know I LOVE this plugin. Been using it for years and it’s a champ!

Hi,

Anyone facing this issue, please follow these steps for now,

1 ) Deactivate and delete the old version. You won’t lose any data.
2 ) Download latest version from here https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/user-dashboard/?udb_page=purchases
3 ) Use a good file manager or FTP or asset manager option for uploading the plugin zip
4 ) Extract it in your plugins folder and activate from the plugins dashboard menu panel

Well, yah. I don’t have a recent backup of the plugin. Isn’t there some way via the developer to do this? And while I appreciate the sentiment and advice, I’d prefer this doesn’t devolve into a “why didn’t I back things” up conversation. haha

At this point, lesson learned but I do need the file until there’s a fix.

Most all plugins on the main WordPress site allow reversioning for just this reason. Seems weird the old ones aren’t somewhere here.

Looks like there was some issue. I have the same problem.. I think the solution mentioned FOR NOW was to download the prior version but I am not sure where to get it!?!?

Hello!

Thank you so much for the reply!

I was able to get something that worked by setting the Post Content to “Post Content”. That effectively removed all the details of the item and still allows me to set download buttons as I need.

Love the plugin and plan on putting some money into your work to support you even though I don’t need all the bells and whistles!
