When you create a new package in the backend you can choose who can download it:
-based on user roles
-but ALSO you can choose specific individual users (like John or Sally) who can download it
Unfortunately users who can only create a package from the front end can only choose download permissions:
-based on user roles
This has still not been addressed. Why can’t the front end package creators have the same choice as the backend package creators? If you look at my snap from the previous comment you can see that ONLY the choice of user role is available from the front end. In fact Ziku’s screen grab shows teh exact same thing. The only option for FRONT end package creators is to limit downloads by role, NOT by individual. I hope this makes sense. Thanks!
Do I need the simple front end upload form add-on to be able to do everything like the admin can do from backend? Right now I can create package from front end but it definitely does not allow you to add individual users like the admin can from backend. Please see attached snapshot. Thank you!

I think this is a similar issue. I added the Custom Level Access which works great for the admin. But if I allow another role (let’s say Subscriber) to create packages from the front end they don’t get the same option to add indiviual users. The whole reason I got this plugin & add-on is to allow different users to download each package. But the Admin is not the only one setting up packages. So in this case Subscribers would have to have the same ability as teh admin to select individual users for each package. Thank you, this is a great plugin.
Hello,
Has this add-on been created yet? I need an option for front-end users to upload a package from the front-end, but without all the access and lock options.
