Looking for sidebar widget for a public uploading, should have password option and user-role access level option. Also should have drop-down list option to select which category uploader wishes to upload to.

That is fantastic, it will help alot as our staff have found the backend upload interface too complex for them to use. There’s just too many steps to go through to upload a file and I think a widget like this will ease that.

I tried the frontend demo, but thats not what am looking for, needs to be sidebar widget thats visible to public view with basic default package settings parameters set..users can only upload, but cannot edit nor delete…should have settings to choose which categories to present to public, also an option whether to place in pending state or not…

Hello,

Has this add-on been created yet? I need an option for front-end users to upload a package from the front-end, but without all the access and lock options.
