I opened a new ticket already. Of course this problem only happens with a few themes, but it’s your plugin the one acting strange, that’s whay I though it might be something you can help me with, since you’re the one that knows the plugin and how it’s developed.
I have the same issue with the theme Pro, from theme.co
Is there a way to use the count shortcode by categories?
I need that total amount to be auto-updated when I click on the categories on the left tree view
Check this screenshot

The shortcode you sent me shows the total of documents but is not showing the total for the category I have selected
I’m not trying to create a template, I just want the theme to recognize the template layout for the Download Categories Archive.
I also checked using the twenty twenty theme, a very light theme, and is not working either
The templating system you’re using for single packages is not the same for the archive categories page.
I’m able to see the Single Package under the Customizer, but not the Archive Categories page.
The theme I’m using is Blocky, can you please check?
we owned that addon, can you please send me the code I need to use?
That’s not what I want. I want to show all the categories on the left expanded by default

Those 2 main categories on the left panel looks very weird
Hi there, thank you so much, that was the problem, and sorry about the access, I selected the wrong role.
4.4.3 is the latest version you have on the dashboard to download, and that’s the one I have installed
Hi, If i do the changes directly on the plugin, it works, but I will lose the change when I update the plugin.
I tried to do it by adding the file to the Theme, but it’s not working.
Here you have some screenshots

Which way do you propose? I tranfered the site in 3 different ways, and I have been migrating sites for a few years already, I know how to do it. The issue is with the plugin, not with the migration
None of the packages have their files attached, only 1, and that one was created after the migration.
Let me explain the situation to you again. We have a development site on a unix environment, and we migrate it to this one, which is a windows environment, that’s why ALL the packages lost the link to the files. That’s the issue, that is what we need to fix.
I know the issue is because a conflict with the theme, and I believe it’s because of the smooth scroll script, but there is no way to easily disable that functionality, that’s why I’m asking for your support, to find another way to make your plugin work with any theme, maybe displaying the categories using a different approach. Maybe using jquery instead of anchor links.
I really don’t know, but I’m sure you will help me with this ๐
Hi Nayeem:
Thank you so much for your prompt response. One question about the featured image. Is that something that may be affected if we update the theme? May the file single-wpdmpro.php be deleted if we update the theme?
About the PDF view, I just deactivate all the website plugins, except Download Manager and the PDF viewer and we still have the same issue. We even tested the website with other browsers and had the same problem.
Thank you again.
