Yes, I’m referring to the Assets Manager. As an admin I can see all the files, but as an editor, I only see the files created by that user.
I want everyone to see every file.

Yes, initially they appears correctly, but you can click on any of the other categories on the left sidebar and you can see the files inside them. I don’t want that.

I have that add-on installed, and the short code like I have it, works partially, it shows the documents, but it also shows all the other categories.

I had to modify the download-manager.php file in order to make it work, but that will be overwritten when the next update comes up.
What’s a good way to make this?
