Same thing here. Beginning 11/18/2020 I started getting bombarded with forum postings. I expect it is from the pro version? I can’t unsubscribe since I don’t have an active subscription.

I know a catch 22 but you need to fix it.

Solved… the WP upload directory was set to the full path… /data/a/altra/pulblic_html/wp-content/uploads

Changed it to wp-content/uploads and it worked. Not sure how it got set to the full path.

Manually extracted the plugin folder and uploaded to the plugins folder and activated.

Looks like I am up and running again.

I have set the following to 777
/public_html/wp-content/plugins
/public_html/wp-content/uploads
/public_html/wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files
/public_html/wp-content/uploads/forms

even temporarily set 777 on
/public_html/wp-content

Still get the error… “Unable to create directory uploads. Is its parent directory writable by the server?”
