Hi,

I still haven’t heard back from you; and this is the third day since it all went pear shaped. What was the point of me paying for support if you can even give me a polite message to say you will get back to me. My client is saying they don’t know if they can wait much longer with their site broken; asking me to look at alternative solutions.

Very frustrating.

Hi Shaon,

Can you please get back to me with some support for my broken plugin/site. My client is extremely upset that all their downloads are not longer available after the upgrade of the plugin. Not a single download is working and they can’t upload any new files.

I’d appreciate some help with this.

Thanks,
Jim

Even uploading a new file to test it doesn’t work. The file seems to upload but the link to the file is an empty file.

I’d appreciate a bit of help please.

Thanks,
Jim

When looking at the individual packages; there doesn’t seem to be any files attached to them at all. Upgrading seems to have been a bit of a disaster!

Just clicking the view link for individual files also gives an error on the resulting page:

Warning: array_intersect() [function.array-intersect]: Argument #1 is not an array in /home/tstlothian/test.lothiancil.org.uk/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/functions.php on line 2254

The link to the file on the page doesn’t point to the file; it seems to point to an empty file. E.g. http://www.lothiancil.org.uk/download/summer-2014-newsletter/

Upgrading has really screwed the file downloads up. There are now now file downloads available on my clients site. I’d appreciate your help with this. Thanks.

Also when using the shortcode for a download package I get errors:

Warning: array_intersect() [function.array-intersect]: Argument #1 is not an array in /home/tstlothian/test.lothiancil.org.uk/wp-content/plugins/download-manager/functions.php on line 2254

I’m upgrading from 3 to 4 and using the migration tool. The category pages are not showing properly; when I click to view a category it shows my how page layout and what looks like posts from blog pages. E.g. http://www.lothiancil.org.uk/downloads/access-to-work/

I’d appreciate help with sorting this out please. Thanks,
Jim

Hi Shaon,

I’ve purchased another years support; but when I login it still says my account has expired – so I still can’t get the updated plugin and migration tool. Can you look into this for me please. Thanks. Jim

I said in my message that that as what I tried to do – but couldn’t get the migration tool – because it wouldn’t let me login; I bought the Pro version. If you provide me with the appropriate plugins I’ll update.

Thanks,
Jim

HI, I’ve got the same issue. Moving from the test site to the live site – the Downloads manager has stopped working. I’ve send a request via the email above. Thanks, Jim

I’ve had the same issue. Luckily I’ve found this thread; it would be good to have it fixed though – as my client uses both plugins.

Thanks, Jim

It’s not clear that the add-on will do what I’m wanting; which is a simple list of categories (I don’t want a list of categories and associated packages on the same page). So I don’t want to pay for something and then discover it doesn’t do what I want.

A simple list of categories should be part of the Pro plugin which I’ve already paid for; it’s a very basic feature. I don’t want to list the categories in the sidebar; I want to list them on a page.

I’m not sure why it would be useful to instal lthe advanced-tinymce-button? What will that do to help me?

I’ll email you; it would be useful if you could set up some sample data for me. Thanks.

Here is what I want to do; and I can’t see how to do it anywhere:

* I want a page that lists all the categories.

* When I click a category I want to got a page which lists all the downloads in that category.

It would be handy if these lists where generated automatically.

Just simple lists; no boxes, no fancy layout. If someone can tell me how to do this it would be greatly appreciated. At the moment this is very frustrating.

Thanks,
Jim

Can you point me to the page that tells me how to add a list of categories to a page – and how to style that list of categories? I’ve looked at the Docs; they are not clear at all. I need a simple way to get started.

Thanks,
Jim
