Hello Nayeem, when Settings > Frontend Access > Login Page was changed to None Selected and “Clean login page” and “Enable modal login form” were unticked the user logins worked properly. All sorted thank you. Is there any documentation on the “Frontend Access” functions and how to get the best out of them? Regards, Jason
Hello Nayeem. The WPDM modules have now been reactivated. Please proceed to resolve. Thanks.
Thanks Nayeem. I’ve gone through a significant testing schedule with themes/plugins to find the source of the User login problems. WPDM and one other plugin were deactivated as a result, they were conflicting with User logins. The support team for the other plugin have almost resolved their problems, when that is done I’ll reactivate WPDM for you so you can fix your problems. Will keep you informed.
Hello Nayeem – here is an example page https://townsvillecre.com/listing/lease-shop-1-11-echlin-street/.
Not sure how to share the CSV. Do you have a file upload function or something?
Note that we cannot provide temp WP-admin credentials for security reasons.
Hello – I see the button marked “Download” still doesn’t Download in the latest upgrade. Hope it will get rectified in the next version.
Sensational! Great news.
How is the update roadmap looking with respect to this bug? Is there an estimated delivery date yet? I have another major Import over the next few weeks which will trigger this problem again.
Thank you @nayeem. Looking through the browser console I’ve found the problem (a Google API was not enabled on my Developer Project). This has been corrected now and the fonts dropdown is working. The underlying problem remains though – the default Link Template appears in two different styles on different parts of the site.
It appears properly formatted on the Product description page, but changes colour and font on a Product tab.
What do we do from here?
Just new at this, and hoping you will be able to solve – the dropdown that’s not working has the following code in the Browser Console Log.
Does this indicate which plugin I need to disable? I have 84 of them, the site generally works fine apart from this formatting issue on the Link Templates.
<select name=”__wpdm_google_font” id=”__wpdm_google_font” data-selected=”Rubik” style=”display: none;”></select>
<div class=”chosen-container chosen-container-single chosen-container-single-nosearch” style=”width: 400px;” title=”” id=”__wpdm_google_font_chosen”><span>Select an Option</span><div><b></b></div><div class=”chosen-drop”><div class=”chosen-search”><input type=”text” autocomplete=”off” readonly=””></div><ul class=”chosen-results”></div></div>
Hello Nayeem, unfortunately we can’t provide wp-admin details for security and privacy reasons. Here is a screenshot from cpanel clearly showing the files are in the correct directory.
When I manually re-attached one file to a Package uploaded from the CSV, the file was also already in the “wp-content/uploads/download-manager-files” directory.
That’s good news. Can’t wait to see the update! Maybe the post_status problem is preventing the “create/publish/update_date” and “tags” fields from being recognised in updated packages.
The problem is that updated Packages weren’t reflecting changes in the “create/publish/update_date” even when they were contained in the CSV.
The other problem is that “tags” aren’t being shown in updated Packages either.
How long do you anticipate the update will take? I’ll check on how these fields work in Bulk Import after the date and advise you.
Thanks Tanvir. The fields required for other paid add-ons (for example Advanced Custom Fields) are provided in the Bulk Import sample.csv (eg “acf_MoreInfo_source” and “acf_MoreInfo_excerpt”) so I’m not keen on paying for them to be provided for Form Lock.
I’ve sent the feature request as suggested.
Just trying to save @duportde some time and frustration. I’ve been advised that using the Export CSV as the base for the Import CSV won’t work. The sample.csv (which also has problems) is the only way to use the core Bulk Import feature. You are welcome.
So Form Lock add-on (which I’ve purchased) doesn’t work with your Bulk Import-Export core feature in Download Manager Pro (also purchased). Bulk Import must work with other add-ons you sell, why not this one? Is there a timeline for integrating the two?
further faults:
create_date > even when present in CSV, are ignored by Bulk Import
update_date > even when present in CSV, are ignored by Bulk Import
publish_date > even when present in CSV, are ignored by Bulk Import
“The CSV file was created by Export method.”
I understand you can’t use the CSV file from the Export method (even after you manage to find it as it doesn’t automatically download). You need to build your Import file from the buggy Sample.csv file and try to work around the inconsistencies from there.
This is where we’re at with the problems https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/support/topic/existing-packages-not-updating-new-packages-being-created/
Hope this helps.
Haven’t heard on this ticket for a while? Here’s some more support info for your product:
tags – this field is ignored by the Import feature.
category field – should NOT be enclosed in double quotes.
The Import feature is resetting “wp_posts” field “post_status” to “Draft” on update.
This is a major problem with your Bulk Import-Export feature, as without a fix each updated package would need to be manually republished.
I understand that the WPDownload Export CSV isn’t able to be imported. According to your users the Export feature faces lots of problems. However, the Export CSV (when located) does show that a number of fields relating to locks (e.g. email_lock_title, email_lock_msg) are missing from the Import CSV which may help us solve the problem.
I want to be updating about 6,500 packages each month through the Import feature so publishing each one has to be done through WPDownload – maybe the missing publish_date field helps with this?
All the fields at https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/bulk-import/ aren’t in the CSV file you sent. The following are missing from the Sample CSV:
Heading/Field Name
view_count
download_limit_per_user
package_size
password_usage_limit
facebook_lock
googleplus_lock
create_date
update_date
publish_date
expire_date
The following fields in the Sample CSV file you sent aren’t on your https://www.wpdownloadmanager.com/doc/bulk-import/ website:
show_counter
cache_zip
show_quota
create_date
update_date
terms_lock
linkedin_lock
gplusone_lock
facebooklike_lock
custom_form_field
tags
acf_MoreInfo_source
acf_MoreInfo_excerpt
If we could get some consistency between your website and the Sample CSV it may help us sort out these problems.
Just a follow up Nayeem. There are fields in the Export CSV which don’t map to the Sample CSV – these are the fields that exist in Export but not in Sample:
There are also fields in Sample that don’t appear in Export – as follows:
Hope this assists with your diagnosis.
Thanks Nayeem. The CSV file you supplied now updates existing packages with most fields. However using the CSV file you sent values in the “tags” “facebooklike_lock” “email_lock” and “email_lock_idl” do not update the existing package, no matter what their values. Now, when the Download button is clicked for the updated existing package I now get the dreaded “Package not available” error.
