Hi Tanvir,
I own the “Download Manager Pro v6.2” and “All Add-ons” license that includes the wpdm-archive-page.zip add-on. I renewed the licenses on 11/13/22.
I then updated all the plugins and add-ons. This is when the wpdm-archive shortcode stopped working for me. I’ve since fixed it. So that is no longer and issue. However, When I first started researching the issue I searched your Forum where I found a thread that said I needed to have the most recent version of the “WPDM Directory Add-on”. I looked through my “All Add-ons” and did not see an add-on called “WPDM Directory” so I assumed it wasn’t included in my original purchase and that it was something new you had created, so I purchased it separately. Then as the download began I noticed it was just another copy of the wpdm-archive-page.zip file.
Since I already own the license for wpdm-archive-page add-on I would like my purchase of an additional stand alone license of wpdm-archive-page (WPDM Directory Add-on) refunded.
Hi Tanvir,
I found the issue. At some point you changed the shortcode from wpdm-archive to wpdm_archive. When I updated that it began working again. How do I request a refund for the extra license of WPDM Directory?
Thank you. I was considering doing the is_numeric. I’m glad you confirmed that. Will it be updated on the next revision?
Thank you. I’ll just upload from package or cPanel for now. Glad it wasn’t something I was doing wrong.
Excellent! and thank you.
Could you add it in a future revision? You could add a separate handler for it and use a different delimiter for parsing through. For example: FirstFileLocation;FirstFileTitle;FirstFilePassord;FirstFileIcon,SecondFileLocation;SecondFileTitle;SecondFilePassword;SecondFileIcon, etc…
Thanks! Works like a charm.
Sorry, I don’t know what is wrong with me. I thought I had set you up as admin. It should be now.
Beautiful! Thanks so much.
Hope I’m not being a pain. Any luck with mapping categories?
Perfect. If we can get the categories working I’ll be all set. I can find a work around for the Advanced Custom Field data.
Thank you.
Working: wpdm:access
Not working: Categories – The only option in the upload list to map to is “Category”. When I do that it adds the Category in posts. However, I believe you have your Custom Post Type set with a Custom Taxonomy of wpdmcategory to manage categories. So I do not have the option to map categories to that.
Additionaly, The following are not important to me but they are also not in the list of item that can be mapped.
wpdm:show_quota
wpdm:show_counter
wpdm:previews
wpdm:sourceurl (not sure if this is needed)
wpdm:uid (not sure what this is)
wpdm:update_date
Lastly, I see you have “Add Custom Field” as an option in the mapping list. How do I use this and can it be used for an array? For example I have the “Advanced Custom Fields” plugin too and I would like to be able to map to those advance field but they are stored as an array in one custom field called __wpdmpro_custom_fields. Is this possible or could you add something that would handle this?
Thanks again for all your help.
How is this coming? Did you find anything?
Great! Thank you so much for being so responsive.
Will I need to make this change again if I update the plugin in the future or will it be set that way in future updates?
Thanks again for all your help.
