Ah – the mystery solved, thank you! When is the [package_size] shortcode used? Does it only apply if there is more than one file uploaded?
Hi Nayeem – I have updated the plugin but no difference – this issue has been there for multiple releases.
We are using Elementor for the site and need to use that page builder for different views on packages, depending on their use. The page is built using an Elementor template, and then embedded link templates show content – on the right hand column a link template shows:
<div>[download_link]</div>
<div style=”margin-top:5px;font-size:0.8em;”>Size: [file_type_icons] [package_size]</div>
The [package_size] shortcode isn’t working – and it’s the same behaviour on all of our sites. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t and shows nothing.
Apologies – I have removed the restrictions on your account. This is a live production site – please bear that in mind. If you need to disable plugins or do any major changes I have a staging version of this site I can send you to.
Same issue for me – bug?
Hi. Has this issue been addressed yet? We are currently using Version 7.12.2 of MonsterInsights and Version 5.1.20 of WPDM and experiencing the same problem David Macdonald described 3 years ago.
Ah, it’s a case of terminology then. I want to block the package pages completely – is there a way to do this? All of my downloads are embedded in pages, and Google is listing all of our package pages which is not how we want to present information. Thanks
Hi – I have enabled Block Hotline on this site – please explain why I am still able to access the download directly. I would like all of these download pages to be blocked: http://www.genderjustice.org.za/download/digital-stories-case-study-for-sonke-nov-2009-pdf/
Thanks, Ian
Hi – I bought Block Hotlink because I thought it would block direct access to a Download page. I don’t want any access to the direct download pages – only through buttons I put in posts. I have enabled the plugin, but it isn’t doing what I thought it would.
However, Google has catalogued all my download pages and is linking to them directly – see here: http://www.genderjustice.org.za/download/digital-stories-case-study-for-sonke-nov-2009-pdf/
How do I block access to all these pages? I don’t want anyone visiting them directly.
Thanks,
Ian
Thanks very much Shaon – that seems to work. Regards, Ian
Nothing?
Hi Shaon – any feedback on this? Thanks, Ian
