No it’s okay. I just wanted to check. Thanks ever so much for everything.
Hi
That’s fab thanks. Did you use the plugin? I ask becasue if you coded it in then I can remove the plugin.
Ok thanks.
I’ve added that plugin and followed your instructions but the placeholders aren’t there?
I searched for ‘Your First Name’ and it only showed the field name – not the placeholder.
There was also a warning message showing:
Missing placeholders; source text formatting suggests at least 1.
Is there a way to do it without adding yet another plugin to our site please?
That worked well thank you.
Hi
Sorry I need more help on this. I have accessed the reg-form.php in that folder but it only refers to <?php do_action(“register_form”); ?> rather than the actual fields. Can you let me know where the fields for <?php do_action(“register_form”); ?> and that if we then update your plugi. it won’t be overwritten?
Hi, I have a copy but when will it be fixed properly please?
Awesome, thank you.
Is that a permanent fix now?
Yes they should work.
Hi, I’m really sorry I didn’t back it up. It was part of an old backup. Can you do it again please and I’ll back it up please? Also, is there a permanent fix?
Hi, This appears to have reverted back. Can you fix it again please? ALso, do you have a permanent fix please?
Ok thanks. It’s fixed now anyway. Sorry for getting you involved.Just trying to get to the bottom of it 😉
It’s okay it’s fixed now. Is it possible that your change did this:
“your wp_posts table has an entry with an id 0 which was causing the error”
Yes but I’m quite sure it’s down to the change you made. Everywhere I have looked it talks about the changes you were talking about when this error happened.
Hi, That’s great thank. it looks fixed now.
Sorry that doesn’t seem to have worked.
Under that section there was only an option for:
“Downloads (wpdmpro)
Set different slugs in different languages for Downloads”
I added translations but nothing happened…
I also looked at String Translations but they were basic texts like “Loading”, “Search Results For” etc…
Just to Clarify: It’s for pages like this one: https://www.heskins.com/all-downloads/. This page shows 7 versions of each download package (1 for each language – even though they are all in English at the moment).
We are using this shortcode to create the page/ So, we need a filter within the shortcode to show download packages to separate languages.
[wpdm_packages template="individual_download" order_by="post_title" order="asc" paging="asc" items_per_page="10" async=0 cols=3 paging=1 colsphone=1 colspad=1]
Sorry, this was my fault. We updated the theme and it removed the code.
