I am on the new version. 6.0.3
No Nayeem, you are not getting me.
For example, If we create a package but don’t include any downloadable file in it, it will generate the page as shown in the screenshot. This page is kind of a 404 page for WPDM and This particular page is without a no-index tag. We need to add a no-index tag to this page.
I assume this page is defined within the plugin and shows up when there is no file available to download.
Nayeem,
Did you even bother to read the question?
Please check the following screenshot: https://prnt.sc/12zpe1a
It is the page generated by WPDM and we want to add a noindex tag to it.
Please ask someone else to look into this ticket.
It is a different issue. We need to add noindex to this auto generated page. Please provide a legitimate solution after seeing the screenshot.
That is genius! I didn’t know that.
What I meant was to filter the tags used by WPDM in old post tags and remove them while keeping the tags used with the single post.
Hey,
As the topic is alive, I have migrated all WPDM tags to the new tag taxonomy. Is there a way to remove them all from the old post tags?
It will clear the list of post tags and will help us identify the original post tags.
Thanks.
Is it possible to copy the icons folder to the child theme and make the plugin load the icons from that folder? And we can just change the icons with exact same names so the plugin could pick the icons without any code modifications?
please suggest.
Sure, I can see a section “Default Package Icons” in the “Default Values” settings. Can you please guide me a bit more on how to update the icon for let’s say “PDF”. Do I need to specifically rename the icon and then insert the URL, what is the process?
No sir, I only have separate packages but with different file types and each package contains only one file. I am not trying to change or update the icon for a specific package or specific file type. I am planning to upgrade all of the available icons with new icons. And by default, I would like the plugin to show the new icons instead of the old ones.
I hope I was able to clear my issue this time.
But again, before you give a solution for only PDF files, we need to replace the icons for all of the file types. Zip, Word, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint, Image, and HTML file.
So, the solution should be like loading our custom icons for each file type instead of WPDM default icons.
Yes, I am using the default template add-on.
Hi,
We don’t want to manually enter the URLs of icons for each and every upload but want to replace the default icons for all of the file types.
For example, we have 200 uploads in PDF and would like to change the icon of all of them along with any future PDF uploads. The best approach is to override the default PDF icon with new icon.
Thanks.
Yes, package icons, that the templates show as the file type.
I am confused. These entries could be of EDD or WPDM. Because I never used any other plugin for file management. Can you please guide me a bit more about exactly how to find if these entries are related to WPDM?
Many thanks.
Thanks, it helped.
I created the PHP files and uploaded them manually as SiteGround somehow keeps deleting the custom templates. But the files are not there anymore. From where can I find those files?
Hi Nayeem,
I am sorry, I thought I had to add that in premium package settings. Thank you for your assistance!
Hi Nayeem,
As you suggested I checked the account and the live mode and have created new client_id and secret but still no luck. It’s giving the same error
