It’s not checked.
What will happen when I put a checkmark on it?
Would it affect future uploads only or would it fix the existing ones as well?

It’s only working now because I renamed the filename of the download file from “Can’t Let You Go.mp3” to “Cant Let You Go.mp3”

With the apostrophe in the filename, download manager malfunctions.
That is, the filesize shows a weird number. Also, when you download the file, you get a empty file called “download-manager-files” and the mp3 file does not get downloaded.

With the apostrophe deleted from the filename and reuploading the file, everything fixes itself.

I see, thank you for letting me know the setting change.

Also, I believe this problem has something to do with the apostrophe on the filename. If I take out the apostrophe from the filename, it works.

I would like you to allow apostrophe on filename.

I’m guessing this has something to do with the apostrophe in the file name.
Same thing happend with below.

However, when I took out the apostrophe, it went through properly and it shows the correct MB.

Can you tell me if you can fix this?

Changing theme fixed it. I don’t want to change the theme. How come different theme causes different results for shortcodes?
