Its OK thx – I couldn’t wait as time was pressing. So I used Migrate DB Pro to move the DB between servers – it managed the task awesomely well and worked first time. If others are looking for a simple solution to this problem Migrate DB Pro is the way to go.

A feature request would be the ability to unlock your own domains – enter license key, and it checks agains the server to make sure there are no more than allowed licensed, then when you need to unlock the domain, you simply click on the unlock button and that way we dont have to wait for 24 hours for you or others to manage individual requests for unlocking.

Much better than the way it is – I recon alot of people will want this.

Hi Any joy with the unlocking of the domains? I’ve lost a fair bit of time to this lock out already and could do with getting things finished off today if possible!

Also can you explain the process of exporting downloads from the old version of the plug in to another old version of the plug in on a different server please. How is this best done to ensure that all files make it across?

I have done an SQL dump and then a find and replace to change domain names, then imported the SQL locally, but some packages are missing files. In that the domain they came from had more files in the packages than my local version. The number of packages was correct though.

Does that mean I buy a new license from the front end of the site, and then I can add that license code to the old version of the plug in?

It seems to be back to normal – having had you unlock the plug in, I have had to add the license code to the server (staging server), and then also had to disable and enable the plug in to get this to work. This plug in shows great promise, but to be honest is a bit more difficult than it should be to get it to do what it needs to do.

If locking and unlocking could be done by me, that would improve things. Also a clear set of trouble shooting tips would help with common problems. I guess I’m going to have to ask you to unlock this again when I move it all to the live server again?

Also, for some reason the plug in now seems to be changing the filenames of the uploads and prefixing the filename with a unique WPDM code. It didn’t do this locally on my dev server, but seems to be doing this now its on the staging server. Same method. Any ideas?
