I have requested WPDM to do the import for me and accepted the quote. Please can you tell me how to proceed?

While waiting for the response, I did get the CSV working fine, the problem was that Microsoft Excel was causing the problem. I switched to OpenOffice and the CSV is fine. If I use the Advanced CSV, where do I enter the Categories and Sub-Categories? All the files are already uploaded to the server.

@therrmann Maybe you and I should chat offline as we are both going through the same issues! Maybe we can help each other?

I am having the same issues. I have created around 300 categories in Bulk import, but cant get the Advanced CSV importer to get the title and the link to the file in docmanager under the category. I purchased the advanced CSV importer to see if I can get to the bottom of the problem. All I get is errors.

I have offered to pay for my data to be imported but no follow up from the sales team yet. I am now weeks past the delivery date and am at a loss of what to do as we have invested many weeks creating al the categories and sub-categories for 15000 PDFs. I have paid for support but looking at the amount of posts you get, there is no way that 2 of you can handle the requests and continue to fix the bugs.

I’ve now deleted all my content and I’m going to start again.

A reply would really help or even a phone call chat to tell you what I’m trying to do and then pay for you guys to do it. It should be really simple but it’s not!

Fixed this, the update plugin does not work. All was fine when I did the update manually.

@shaon, Is advanced csv import included in the Special Pack? Thx Simon

We are battling to use the import CSV. How do we put the following required folder hierarchy into the csv?

1) Parent Category – Country
2) Child Category (folder) Angola
3) Child Category (sub-folder) Angola V1

4) File pointer to the files on the server ie: docmanager/Angola/Angola V1/filename1.pdf,filename2.pdf…filename20.pdf

Is everything in Bulk Import possible to do with the csv?
Please find attached an excel sheet showing what we need in the database.

Thanks. Please remove the advanced search panel from my WPDM Search results and tell me the php file you change so that I dont have to bother you next time I upgrade.

Please can you tell me how to use the wpdm Search widget to use the link template?

Please help me urgently. this project is so far behind. I’ve disabled all my plugins to see if that is why the WPDM Search widget has stopped working since the update. That was a few days ago. Also I need to know how to get the template working with WPDM Search widget. Everythin works fine with the simple search except I need the search in the side bar and the results in a results page.

Please can you check why the WPDM Search is not returning any files and can you remove the advanced search panel again as I lost your mods during the update. Please let me know the changes then I can do this next time.

Is it possible to get the WPDM Search Widget to display the output the same as the wpdm-archive search (simple search) as it already a widget?

Also where is the advanced search getting its css from? I dont seem to be able to change the grey it in the theme. It looks terrible on a dark site.
